Casa de Cimkon is a pretty two bedroom recently re-furbished mid-terraced house on a lovely urbanisation. Being a family holiday home it is comfortable, welcoming and very well equipped with air conditioning and satellite TV. The terrace has a built-in BBQ and enjoys a lovely view. There is easy parking behind the house. Views to the coast and 20 mins uphill walk to village. Close to the larger pool and bar/restaurant situated in a lovely garden setting with tennis court. There is a second smaller pool at the top of the Urbanisation with stunning views over Fuengirola.

Other: Main Terrace has sun beds, dining table and chairs and built in barbeque and looks towards Morocco.

Accessibility
There are steps down to the property from the off road parking, so this is not suitable for those with mobility problems or very young children.

Outside
Please be aware the tiled floors can be slippery for young children particularly when returning from the pool.

The large split size pool with children's facility is beautifully situated a minute's walk below the property within a garden environment and close to the bar/restaurant. There is also a smaller pool at the top of the urbanisation with stunning views over Fuengirola but without a children's shallower facility.

Coast/Beach
Malaga lies 17km to the East and can be accessed either via the motorway (20 mins) or easily by train from Fuengirola (45 mins). A bus runs from the village centre to busy Fuengirola every 10-15 minutes and takes about 10-15 minutes. Marbella and Puerto Banus lie around 25km to the West and can be accessed easily via motorway or the coastal dual carriageway (30 mins).

Golf
There are two courses within a 15 minute drive, Alhurin and Mijas Golf.

Skiing
It is a one and a half hour drive to Granada and the Sierra Nevad mountains via motorway.

Special interest holidays
Mijas Pueblo itself is a few minutes drive and boasts many good restaurants and craft shops amongst its cobbled streets and is famous for its donkey and horse drawn carriage rides. It now boasts a car and coach park to cope with the many tourists who visit to enjoy its pretty cobbled streets, friendly atmosphere, lively fiestas and stunning views.

Be sure to visit the little church and the lovely gardens around the unique square bullring. Horse riding is available close by, waters sports are available between Belamadena and Fuiengirola, golf courses are close by and cultural visits to the Alhambra, Rhonda, teh Cahedral and/or Picasso Museum at Malaga are easily accessible, or just take to the beach 10 minutes drive away and relax in the gentle waves of the mediterranean.

Travel
Malaga 17km 20 minutes. Use of car is essential due to the nature of the urbanisation although a bus runs to the village and to Fuengirola, times are posted at the Carob Bar.

Distances
Malaga 17km/20 mins. Rhonda, a stunning old town built on a gorge is a lovely 1 hour drive up behind Marbella and definitely worth visiting. The famous Moorish Alhambra Palace at Granada is a 1 and a half hour easy drive by motorway and is also a must. The water park at Torremolinos is about 5km and great for children and the closer beaches at Fuengirola are 10-15 minutes by bus/ car from the village centre. The award winning Belamadena Marina is 6km with boat trips, shops and restaurants.

Further details
The white washed village of Mijas Pueblo boasts many good restaurants and craft shops amongst its cobbled streets and is famous for its donkey and horse drawn carriage rides, many lively fiestas and stunning views.

Be sure to visit the little church and the lovely gardens around the unique square bullring with the stunning views to the coast. It also has three small supermarkets and many restaurants. The Town Hal has a Foreigners Dept where you can pick up a guide to what is happening in the area each month. The Tourist office next door is also a wealth of information on local attractions.
