Our townhouse is just 300 meters from Bahia de Casares (Casares Bay) a beautiful, sandy, unspoilt stretch of coast. It has 3 Bedrooms and is designed to an excellent standard with quality modern furniture, spread over 3 floors. It is fully air conditioned. It is in a private gated development that has 18,000m2 gardens and two communal swimming pools. It is peaceful and really is a great place to relax, yet only minutes away is the larger resort of Estepona and the beautiful port of Duquesa, where there are many excellent restaurants for eating out. This house is perfect for relaxing or using as a base for exploring the area and is great for golf with more than 60 golf courses stretching along the Costa del Sol. It borders onto the new Dona Julia and El Finca Cortesin golf complexes and is only a very short distance from Duquesa golf course. There is a large sun terrace with table and chairs that benefits from all day sun and enjoys the last of the sun as it disappears over the hills.

Notes on prices
The above prices are based upon 2 people staying. The house will sleep 6 people at a cost of £50 per week per extra person. For example 6 people in August would be £550 per week. We have priced the house this way to give a good price to large groups, whilst not disadvantaging small parties.
The house is also available for long term tenancy (what better way to get away from the British winter), please contact us with any enquiries.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday, and the Townhouse is normally available from 4pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
However, we will try to accommodate requests outside of these times subject to other bookings.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds (one stored under the other).
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with shower, wc.
Bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
Kitchen: Fitted kitchen, comprising hob, extractor, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. All cooking utensils are provided, including the very important corkscrew and bottle opener.
Utility Room: There is space under the stairs on the lower floor to stow away suitcases and/or golf clubs when they are not needed.
Living Rooms: Spacious living room which leads out on to the sun terrace. Wooden dining table with 6 chairs, also accessed via a hatch from the kitchen. Two leather sofas (2 and 3 seats) provide comfortable seating to watch the satellite TV/video/DVD, or for relaxing.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included within the price and will be changed midway through a 2 week stay. They will not be changed during stays of a shorter duration, unless arranged at additional cost.

 

Notes on accommodation
The house is fully air conditioned with separate units/controls on each level to give everybody a choice re temperature. This provides both heat as well as cold air, although it's unlikely that you will need the heating during the scorching summer months.
A cot and high chair are provided for families with small children.

Accessibility
It is possible to drive right upto the front door, where you are able to park to unload your luggage, so there are no long walks across the development with your bags.
The house hasn't been modified for wheelchair use and there are is a set of stairs up to the main bedroom/ensuite, and downstairs to the other 2 bedrooms and the main bathroom.

Outside
The development is gated to provide privacy for residents, and incorporates 18,000m2 gardens and two communal swimming pools providing a private, relaxed environment to enjoy the Spanish climate.
It is surrounded by spectacular Spanish landscape, with views of sea, mountains, the adjacent parkland and the nearby 18 hole golf course of Doña Julia.
There is a large outside sun terrace which attracts the sun from around midday until sunset when it disappears off over the beautiful mountains. Sun-loungers, a table and chairs are provided.
For those who like to enjoy the sun all day long the front of the house attracts the morning sun and is a great place to bring out a chair to enjoy your morning cup of tea.
The large expanse of grass around the pools offer a perfect spot to lie down and relax and soak up the sun all day.

Coast/Beach
Jardines de Casares is just 300 metres from Bahia de Casares (Casares Bay) a beautiful, sandy and unspoilt stretch of coast on the Costa del Sol. The beach boasts a fantastic restaurant which specialises in beautiful fish dishes, and a 15-20minute walk up the beach will take you to the beachside bars and restaurants of Sabinillas. Generally in the area there are numerous blue flag beaches for those looking for pure relaxation and watersports, plus a great selection of bars and restaurants.

Sabinillas and Duquesa boast a large number of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and supermarkets. Only 10minutes away, Estepona offers even greater choice including a Carrefour hypermarket.
Estepona also boasts the wonderful African animal Selwo National Park, with many water parks also accessible within a short drive.

Cosmopolitan Life can be found only 30 minutes away in the "jet-set" city of Marbella with its hustle and bustle. Shopping experiences of every kind are available ranging from the upscale El Corte Inglés, Spains premier department store, to the sprawling La Cañada mall just outside Marbella, to the infinite variety of small shops and boutiques lining the cobble-stoned streets of Old Marbella. Just before Marbella, approaching from La Duquesa, is the international resort of Puerto Banus with its millionaire playground of floating palaces and luxury cars. In addition to the yachts, the port is chock full of all the appropriate designer names such as Versace, Armani, and Donna Karen for the most discerning shoppers.
No visit to the Costa del Sol is complete without a day trip to Gibraltar which is only a 25 minute drive away. Famous for the rock, its monkeys, sophisticated wine bars, lively British pubs and easy access to Morocco there is something there for all.

Booking notes
Once you are ready to book you we would ask you to provide your contact details, together with the names/ages of those in your party and a deposit for 25% of the total cost. The balance of the cost is due six weeks from the date of arrival, unless you are booking within six weeks in which case the full payment is required immediately.
