Casa Laura is a beautiful three bedroom villa situated in the peaceful residential development of Las Tres Calas, 2km from 3 blue flag beaches. The villa has been equipped to a very high standard and has a mature garden, private pool protected by a stone balustrade with lockable gate, built-in barbecue, off-road parking and large roof terrace with spectacular mountain views. Within 15 minutes walking distance there is a restaurant, two bars, small supermarket and bakery. 4km away is the traditional Spanish fishing town of L’Ametlla de Mar, with it's own railway station and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. This is a wonderful area for family holidays and has some of the most beautiful, unspoilt coastline on the Mediterranean with many small sandy beaches and coves set amongst dramatic cliffs. Costa Caribe Water Park and the Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to be the best theme park in Spain, are only 30 minutes away by car or train.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday in May/June and Saturday in July/August. At all other times alternative days will be considered. Arrival time is from 3.30pm and departure time is by 10 am.

Accessibility
There are four steps leading up to the front door, but all rooms are on one level.

Outside
The pool is for the sole use of guests at Casa Laura and is 8m long and 5.1m at it's widest point. The large garden has plenty of mature shrubs and trees and there is a built-in barbecue, table and chairs for alfresco dining and sun beds and lounging chairs for relaxing around the swimming pool soaking up the sun. A spiral staircase at the back of the property leads to a large roof sun terrace with excellent views of the surrounding mountains. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Coast/Beach
There are three local beaches, from 5-10 mins drive away, which have all been awarded blue flags. There are many other sandy beaches and coves to discover nearby and this area has some of the most beautiful, undeveloped coastline on the Mediterranean. None of the beaches are crowded, even in July and August.

Golf
The impressive Golf Club de Bonmont, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Catalonia, is at Mont-Roig del Camp, Tarragona, just a 20 minutes drive from Las Tres Cales and there are other courses in the near vicinity.

Travel
Reus and Barcelona Airports are convenient for the villa, both well served by the low cost airlines. Ryan Air fly into Reus, while Easy Jet have a frequent service to Barcelona. Reus (39km) is only a 30 minute drive from the villa, while Barcelona (140km) is approximately 90 minutes. A car is recommended and car hire from both airports is easily obtainable online. The nearest railway station is at L’Ametlla de Mar, with a direct line to Barcelona.

Distances
The nearest supermarket, bars and restaurant are at the entrance of the estate, just under 15 minutes walk from the villa. The nearest beaches are 2km and the working fishing town of L'Ametlla de Mar is 5 minutes by car (4km).

Further details
Barcelona, the European city of culture, is only 90 minutes away by road or two hours by train, and is a truly fascinating city to visit. Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to be the best theme park in Spain, and the Costa Caribbe Water Park are situated at Salou, a lively tourist resort approximately 25 minutes by car. The historic city of Reus and the ancient city of Tarragona with its Roman buildings and amphitheatre are 30 minutes drive away. Towards the South is the Ebro Delta Natural Park, famous for its pink flamingo’s and monstrous catfish. This is a haven for fishermen and fishing is permitted along the public areas of the River Ebro, although a fishing licence must be purchased from the local village town hall.
A comprehensive manual is provided at the villa giving details of places to visit in the area, local restaurants and facilities.

Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before departure. A refundable security deposit of £200 is also payable. There is a local manager available to deal with any problems who speaks English, French and Spanish.
