This new 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the top floor of a charming Andalucian-style two-storey house, set in the exclusive Al-Andalus Thalassa complex, located midway between the historical market town of Vera and the beautiful and unspoilt blue flag beaches of Vera Playa. The apartment has been tastefully decorated with rural-style furnishings. It consists of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully-fitted and well-equipped. The spacious living/dining room leads onto an attractive terrace which overlooks the gardens and has a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The Al-Andalus Thalassa complex is made up of Andalusian-style houses laid out around extensive leafy gardens, adorned with pretty arches and fountains and pleasant shaded areas. In addition to the spa and fitness centre, there are two outdoor pools for adults and children, tennis and paddle ball courts, two children's play areas and a boules area.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the top floor of a two-storey house. There is no lift so this apartment is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
Outside
Apartment includes an attractive terrace which has outdoor table and seating for 'alfresco' dining. This terrace is safe for young children.
Coast/Beach
Almeria province has over 214km of spectacularly diverse coastline. The Almeria coast boasts many blue-flag beaches, including the nearby Vera Playa and Mojácar Playa. Vera Playa has a very dry climate (excellent for anyone with ailments such as arthritis and rheumatism) and is the warmest area of mainland Europe in the winter. Summers are hot but moderated by sea breezes. There is a naturist beach at the northern end of Vera Playa.
Golf
Several golf courses are within easy reach: Cortijo Grande 9-hole. Club Marina Golf 18-hole. Valle Del Este 18-hole. The only desert-style golf course in Europe is Desert Springs in the Almanzora (18-hole). Please contact owner should you require weblink addresses.
Travel
The nearest airport is Almeria airport at a distance of 80km (approx 45 mins by car). San Javier (Murcia) airport is 135km away (approx 90 mins by car). Alicante airport is 200km away (approx 2 hours by car). Car hire is strongly recommended as the nearest shops are 1.5km away from the apartment.
Distances
Vera Playa is the closest beach at a distance of 2km. There is a large supermarket and several restaurants by the beach.
The nearest town is Vera 5km and the nearest city is Almeria 90km.
Further details
Nearby towns include the picturesque white-washed town of Mójacar and the fishing towns of Garrucha and Villaricos.
As Andalucia's largest coastal nature park, a visit to the nearby Cabo de Gata Natural Park is a must. It is an area of unspoilt beauty with unique scenery, volcanic craters, rocky headlands and sandy coves.
Booking notes
A security deposit of 150 euros is required and the balance will be refunded within 10 days of the last day of rental. Bookings must be confirmed with a 50% deposit (plus the security deposit) within 5 working days by way of electronic bank transfer or secure online credit card payment. The remainder of your rental fee will be due 30 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations: Obviously, we hope that you do not cancel your holiday.
