Nestled just above the town close to all amenities the house consists off 2 large bedrooms, spacious lounge/diner with open fire and a stylish modern bathroom. The house is presented in cheerful summer colours with a relaxing atmosphere complete with home cinema system with IPOD facility. The fully equipped kitchen has all the elements required to serve up all the culinary delights you may require. Situated behind a private gated entrance you will find a pleasant drive through the Olive trees to the first sun terrace, close to here you will find the 5m x 6m lit pool with sun loungers and gazebo. The rear terrace has a built-in barbecue with a food preparation area and is lit for your convenience. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty and the views are exhilarating, which is ideal for combining every element a good holiday deserves.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week, per day in Euros.
A deposit of 30% is payable upon booking and the balance to be paid preferably 4 weeks before arrival. Balance can be paid upon arrival, if agreed. Refundable security deposit - 150 Euros.
A welcome pack can be arranged with prior notification for the sum of 48 Euros.

Changeover day
Changeover days and departure and arrival times are totally flexible.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1, a double bed.
Bedroom 2, 4 single beds one is a pull out single bed below.
Bathrooms: Full bathroom, offering a shower/bath, bidet, wc, hand basin and washing machine facility.
Kitchen: The kitchen has a cooker/oven, extractor, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and all required utensils.
Utility Room: Not included in the property.
Living Rooms: A relaxing haven complete with a open fire, TV/DVD cinema system, iPod docking ability, large L-shape sofa which converts to another double bed. The dining area has a 6 seater dining table and chairs, with French doors to the rear terrace.
Other: The cortijo offers a variety of terraces some being shaded with built in seating, the pool terrace offers a shower, lovely gazebo, relaxing swing for guest who wishes to remain in the shade and a variety of sun loungers for the sun worshippers.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen, bath and hand towels are provided but no beach or pool towels are supplied. Property manager is on hand if needed and a cleaning service can be made available for a small fee.

 

Notes on accommodation
Each room comes complete clothes storage and soft lighting, for your comfort they have fans for the summer and heaters for the winter. Smoking - we prefer guests not to smoke in the house, simply for the benefit of future guests who may be allergic.

The nearest beach is Salonbrena which is 30 mins by car.

Golf
The area boasts numerous golf courses the most famous being Granada Golf, approx 40 mins by car and the closest can be located in Motril which is near the coast.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada offers skiing and snow boarding facilities, this is located outside of Granada.

Special interest holidays
The area does offer a variety of special interest holidays such as, life coaching, summer camps for children, camping, water sports, horse riding and adventures.
For the person who wishes to become in touch with inner soul there is a Buddhists retreat and yoga and tai chi lessons.
For the nature lovers various bird watching and hiking activities can be found.

Travel
Closest airport is Granada which is 50 mins approx, other airports are Malaga and Almeria bith within 2 hours travelling time.

Distances
Car hire is suggested as to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding areas. The property is 8 mins on foot to the centre of Orgiva.

From Orgiva you could explore the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the beautiful white washed villages of the Alpujarras, and for those who like sports there are a lots of walk circuits in the mountains.

The Alpujarra is an area full of contrasts, ranging from the toundra of the peaks of Sierra Nevada to the generous dryness of La Contraviessa.
