Casa Ventura is a newly refurbished, luxurious, boutique style bed and breakfast - a gorgeous retreat to relax and unwind in the famous little white village of Mijas Pueblo. The location is fabulous, perched at the top of a private road with stunning views to the coast and magical gardens and pool that are a tranquil retreat, especially designed and created to give the discerning traveller space and privacy. Each of the 3 bedrooms have private entrances, brand new en suite bathrooms, fabulous views and are furnished with beautiful linens and accessories. The perfect place to get away from the stress and strains of everyday life. Relax by the pool, take a siesta in the hammocks under the olive trees, pick the lemons, oranges or figs depending on the season and relax with a cold glass of wine in the warm sunshine. We aim to make your stay as perfect as possible and offer an honesty bar, light salads and lunches by the pool and a luxury airport collection and drop off service.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible and we prefer for rooms to be vacated as early as possible on the last day and not later than 11am.
Notes on accommodation
The inside of Casa Ventura is a dream come true for those with a modern and eclectic taste in interiors. The first floor layout is large, spacious and completely open plan, with the most fantastic high ceilings. The views from the salon are the most stunning views of the coastline with enormous sliding doors that allow the gentle warm breeze to drift through the house. Although air conditioned, the old stone walls of this contemporary style house keep it incredibly cool all through the hot summer season.
The guest accommodation is all on the lower floor, each room with its own private entrance with either poolside or garden access.
Breakfast as you would expect is healthy with a fabulous array of yoghurts, fruit, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies and the egg white frittata is a speciality inspired by our trip to Bali - lots of taste but low in cholestorol!
All bedrooms are centrally heated for the winter and with full air conditioning for the summer season.
Accessibility
Casa Ventura is situated at the top of a private winding road -and therefore may not be suitable for those who are less stable on their feet
Outside
Casa Ventura is completely private and is hidden behind a huge white wall - Many of our guests describe the feeling when they walk through the gates and down the old stone steps towards the house as being quite magical.
The gardens are terraced so there is always somewhere private to have a romantic glass of wine.
The swimming pool is on the middle terrace surrounded by terraces above with enormous Texan looking cactus, and aloe vera. A shaded area above the pool surrounded by bamboo and fir trees provides a lovely setting for lunch with beautiful mountain views, and the lower terrace with lots of shade under the lemon and olive trees is perfect in the afternoon for a siesta.
After a glass of wine at around 7pm - a 2 minute walk down some stone steps and you will find the start of the village with 2 lovely local restaurants to choose from before you venture too far.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are just 10 mins by car and can be found starting at Los Boliches and right the way along the coast to Marbella - all with delightful chiringuitos serving fabulous fresh fish and tapas. Enjoy a long lazy luch and then a siesta on the beach.
Golf
Within 10 minutes of Mijas Pueblo you will find all of the championship golf courses so famous on the Costa del Sol - La Cala and Santa Maria to name but a couple.
Skiing
For the more adventurous the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are within an hour and a half drive - the locals do a skiing trip for the day - and Monday to Friday miss the weekend queues!
Travel
Casa Ventura is just 15 minutes by car from Malaga airport. If your aim for the holiday is to relax by the pool, chill in the shade of the trees and wander into the village for relaxed evening meals - then a car is not necessary as for a small charge we will organise luxury transport to and from the airport. However, If you plan to travel further afield then we would recommend car hire. And if you dont want to decide right now - then we can organise your car on arrival at Casa Ventura...
Distances
Within a 2 minute walk is the little village of Mijas Pueblo so famous for its donkeys, local craft shops, vast array of good restaurants and tapas bars, the local wine museum for a tasting of some of the best wines in the region.
The local towns of Fuengirola, Marbella for its stylish shopping and puerto Banus for the people watching is a must and just 15 minutes away by car - you will not be bored.
For a little culture, Ronda, Seville and cordoba are all within an hour's drive.
