Welcome to Casa 17, a spacious 3 bedroom holiday home set in the small and exclusive gated development of Green 4, on the prestigious Nuevo Portil Golf Course, in the beautiful Spanish Algarve. The property has 3 private sun terraces overlooking the 4th fairway and private communal pool and gardens. Casa 17 is fully equipped with all 'mod cons' and offers an exceptional base from which to explore the unspoilt Costa de la Luz. Quaint villages, modern towns, historical cities, spectacular sandy beaches and lush pine forests, coupled with a wealth of exciting nearby activities, shops, restaurants and bars will ensure that you have a holiday to remember!

Notes on prices
Prices are per week in UK pounds.
Payments can be converted into euros and paid into a euro account if required. Air-conditioning, use of six bicycles and basic welcome pack all included. Short and long stay rates on request.
Changeover day
Flexible. Arrival from 4pm, departure by 10am. If you have a late departure please let us know and we will do all we can to extend this time for your convenience.

Notes on accommodation
Rooms have air-conditioning/heating as well as ceiling fans. The property has been built and furnished to a high standard and provides comfortable accommodation from which to enjoy your holiday. A basic welcome pack and use of six bicycles is included in our prices. Please note: Smoking and pets are not permitted in Casa 17.
Outside
Casa 17 has three private south facing terraces overlooking the pool and gardens, and all terraces are comfortably furnished. The ground floor gated terrace is ideal for children and outside dining. The private master bedroom terrace is great for sun lovers and has views across the pool area, gardens and 4th fairway. There is also a partially shaded attic terrace which is an ideal place to escape with a book and a glass of wine. The communal swimming pool opens from 1st June to the end of September and to comply with Spanish safety laws, a lifeguard is present when open. There is a paddle tennis court open all year situated on the adjoining complex. Casa 17 has two underground parking spaces and also a lockable store, ideal for your own golf clubs, and also to house the 6 bicycles which are free for you to use throughout your stay.
Coast/Beach
The many beaches of the Huelva region are absolutely stunning - golden sand stretching for miles fringed by lush green pine forests. The nearest beach to Casa 17 is just 10 minutes walk away, Playa de Nuevo Portil is clean and uncrowded, it is perfect for children to play with swings and slides, showers, walkways, beach bars and restaurants. Other great beaches can be found a short drive along the coast.
Golf
Casa 17 is situated directly on the stunning Nuevo Portil Golf Course, offering a full range of first class facilities. El Rompido offers two great courses just a 5 min drive away and the Islantilla 27 hole championship golf course is only 15 mins drive. Golf in the Costa de la Luz area tends to be better value than the neighbouring Western Algarve and other Costa's, and courses are often not as busy.
Travel
There is now a wide choice of low cost flights operating daily into Faro Airport (1 hr 10 min from Casa 17), or Seville (50 min from Casa 17). Car hire is recommended so that you can experience all that the Costa de la Luz has to offer. The Costa de la Luz road network is excellent and very quiet compared to the UK.
Distances
The traditional fishing village El Rompido, 5 minutes drive, offers a variety of restaurants and bars. There is an excellent carting track and a water park, 10 minutes drive. The major town Huelva, 10 minutes drive, has a large shopping centre. Cartaya, 10 minutes drive, has a large 'Carrefour' hypermarket.

The region not only offers an unspoilt experience of 'the real Spain' - quaint villages, historical cities, spectacular sandy beaches and lush pine forest trails - but also boasts a wealth of local activities and services including numerous golf courses, water park, karting, fishing and boat trips, water sports, cycling, horse riding and much more. El Portil and other local towns all offer general amenities such as banks, pharmacies and supermarkets, and many shops, restaurants and bars are just walk away from Casa 17.
Booking notes
A deposit of £200 per week is required with a completed booking form unless booking within 10 weeks when the full amount is due. We also require a security deposit of £200 which is refunded after a successful post departure check by our local agent.
