It is wheelchair friendly with access throughout with no steps in the house, to garden or 8 x 5 metre pool. Full facilities include flat screen TV, DVD player and wireless broadband. 40 minutes drive to the Costa Tropical beaches.

Changeover day
Changeover day flexible but Saturday preferred. Arrival after 4pm and departure by 10.30am, although, if we can be more flexible, we will.

| Bedrooms: | Choose between a double or a twin room (2 bedroom option also available). Each bedroom has a traditionally built wardrobe, dressing table and chair, full length mirror and wonderful views. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom has a wide door for wheelchair access, open 'wet room' shower with drop down seat and room for a wheelchair. There is a corner basin with triple mirrors, loo, heated towel rail and first aid cupboard. |
| Kitchen: | Well stocked kitchen with fridge, electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, toaster, coffee percolator, washing machine, iron. Lots of pots and pans, dishes, mugs/cups and saucers, glasses and masses of utensils. |
| Living Rooms: | Open-plan lounge/kitchen with wood burning fire, fans, Satellite TV, DVD/video, cassette/CD player and wireless internet broadband. Comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs, dining table and chairs. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bath and hand towels for use in the house provided (please bring your own pool towels) plus ample bedlinen. All changed weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Good quality linen and towels provided for use in the house. Everything is newly furbished and of good quality and there is plenty of hot water for all. Hairdryers in each bedroom. Adaptors for English plugs available. Highly efficient window shutters make the use of the fans supplied virtually unnecessary. Wood burning fire with a good supply of wood and heaters provided for cool winters.

Accessibility
Las Chimeneas is wheelchair friendly - from the car to the front door, to the private garden, pool and terrace - there are no steps at all, useful also for families with young children and the elderly. There is an open shower/'wet room' for wheelchair access. Pool is separated from casita by a bolted gate for added security.
Outside
Private pool, 8m x 5m and 1.5m - 2m deep with terrace, is for use by the guests. Table tennis table, tables and chairs including loungers. Private courtyards and gardens. BBQ facilities. Extensive gardens to wander around and sit in. Ample parking in front of the house. Access to Las Chimeneas, 2.5 km from Orgiva is via the tarmac road followed by 200 metres of track and easy to find.
Coast/Beach
40 minutes drive to the Costa Tropical beaches. Drive through the mountains, stop to look at the new dam and drive through the massive gorge as you near the coast. The journey itself is a great experience. Salobrena is a hilltop white village with its Moorish castle and the beach stretching behind. A little further along is Almunecar with Roman remains in the old town and a bustling market and plenty of local shops.

Travel
On arrival, we meet all our guests in Orgiva and bring them personally to Las Chimeneas - much nicer than finding your way alone. The airport at Granada is 1 hour, at Malaga 1 hour 45 mins drive from here but we can arrange to collect you from there if preferred. A car/taxi is useful so as to have access to the beautiful white villages in La Alpujarra, the historical city of Granada and of course the coast. There are also daily buses which are inexpensive and go to Granada, the coast and beyond.

2.5km from Orgiva via a tarmac country road (5 minutes by car).

Good selection of restaurants and bars - enjoy your "tapas" [small plate of local food given free with each drink here]. Variety of shops, [including one supermarket which caters for the English tastes - yes- even pasteurised milk!] banks and a weekly market on Thursday and regular fiestas throughout the year.
