There is a child safety gate at the entrance to the roof terrace for safety with younger children. Balcony leading from living area with bistro style table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Palomares beach is approx 10 mins walk which is sandy and expands to other local beaches for several kilometers. Vera Beach (Puerto Rey) is approx 5 mins drive and is a vast expanse of beautiful sand.
Golf
The apartment is located within easy reach of several golf courses that suit all levels of golfer. Dessert Springs 5 mins drive is a fabulous new golf course with 18 hole par 72. Built to full USGA specifications this course is designed to challenge the world’s best players. It also has a club house/ restaurant for dining or a relaxing coffee located in beautiful surroundings. A 5 min drive from the apartment is a driving range with putting green and a 2 hole pitch and putt. Other golf courses located nearby.
Travel
Located within easy reach of 2 local airports.Almeria airport is approx 40 mins drive. Murcia airport is approx 1 hour 15 mins drive (via toll road). Transfers can be arranged (please enquire). Alicante airport is approx 2 hours 30 mins drive. Travel to the apartment from all airports is by efficient motorway routes. Car hire is recommended to make the most of the beautiful area.
Distances
5 mins walk to pretty traditional spanish village of Palomares which has a couple of small supermarkets and bars. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. 15 mins walk to typical Spanish fishing village of Villaricos which has bars, restaurants and a weekly market. Vera Town is approx 15 mins drive which is the old town with a range of shops and bull ring. There is a small Water Park within 5 mins drive. Mojacar Playa approx 15 mins drive and Mojacar Old Town approx 25 mins.
Further details
Supermarkets, banks located in Palomares. Large supermarket within 5 mins drive. Mojacar Playa has vast expanse of bars, restaurants and shops. It has a beach that runs all along the coast to the neighbouring resorts with beach bars, cycle paths and play grounds located at regular intervals.
Vera Playa is one of the most impressive beaches which also has cycle hire and paths leading to local resorts.
Garrucha 10 min drive has range of banks, shops etc. Mojacar old town is nestled in the hills and has beautiful views of the local area.
There is a good range of restaurants in the village square which has panoramic views. There are a number of small gift shops and boutiques located in the narrow winding cobbled streets of the stunning old town.
All along the route between most of the resorts are cycle lanes which range from roadside to beachside to enable easy cycling through the local resorts of Villaricos, Palomares, Vera Playa, Garrucha and Mojacar Playa.
