'Casa Mimosa' is set in the hills of Granada Province in Andalucia on the outskirts (5 mins walk) of the small town of Algarinejo. South Facing with its own pool (underwater lighting for evening swimming) and private garden. The location is as the Spanish say, 'muy bonita'. In the springtime the hillsides are a riot of almond, peach, pomegranate and mimosa blossom. 1 hour from Granada and 1.5 from Malaga and adjoining the Provinces of Cordoba and Malaga. Casa Mimosa is ideally placed for exploring inland and coastal Andalucia. Whether you are touring by car, cycling or walking, on holiday or on business, Casa Mimosa offers a truly relaxing 'away from it all experience of rural Spain.

Private terrace leading to pool. Continental breakfast is provided. This apartment can be rented with the S/C apartment to sleep 6/7. The accommodation is licensed and approved by the Junta De Andalucia. |

Notes on accommodation
The self catering apartment and over night accommodation are non-smoking. Ash trays are provided for outside. Floor fans are provided. Towels are changed daily and sheets twice weekly in the self catering accommodation. The terraces are cleaned daily and cleaning of the self catering accommodation can be provided at additional cost. A welcome pack is provided in the self catering apartment - eggs, cheese, bread, butter, milk, wine, fruit and water. (5 nights +).
Accessibility
The property has several terraces and steps and may not be suitable for young children or people with severe mobility difficulties.
Outside
The vanishing edge swimming pool (8m x 4m) is available for use from April/May until Oct. This is a private pool and for the use of clients only. In addition to your private terrace there is a large pool terrace with sun beds and parasols that leads to the private garden. The garden is planted with olive trees, oleanders, roses, honeysuckle and typical Mediterranean shrubs. A gas barbeque is available for use in the garden.
Coast/Beach
Casa Mimosa is a inland rural property. Trips to the beach, Nerja for example is very pretty and popular with locals, is about 1 hour away.
Iznajar lake is approx. 20 mins away and has a small beach and restaurant.
Travel
Granada airport is the nearest and approx 1 hour. Malaga is approx 1.5 hour's. Airport pickup and local car hire can be arranged. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Casa Mimosa is within 5 minutes walk of the town centre. It has several supermarkets, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a local weekly market. Priego de Cordoba, Rute and Loja are the nearest large towns approx 30 minutes drive. Each has many visitor attractions and their own local markets. Alhambra and Generalife - a 'must see' but be sure to book your visit. Guided walks and bus tours into the heart of and around Granada City are available.
Further details
Most shops close between 2pm and 5pm, and do not open on Sundays. One supermarket in Algarinejo opens Sunday mornings. Bread is commonly bought in the mornings from the local bakers vans.
The Subbetica National Park is close by for walking, climbing, birdwatching or general sightseeing. The surrounding local villages often have their own fiestas/processions and visitors are welcomed.
Algarinejo and the surrounding areas are ideal for walking and cycling. Mapped guides for local walks are available for all abilities.

Booking notes
Bookings can be made by telephone or email. Self-Catering: deposit of 25% on booking and the remainder 4 weeks prior to arrival. Deposits are non-refundable 4 weeks prior to planned arrival. A surety of 250 euros/£200 against damage is required on arrival and is returnable on departure subject to inspection. Overnight accommodation can be pre booked by telephone or email and is payable on arrival.

'When you book a house over the internet you never know what to expect. This place is far more than we ever imagined. The immaculate layout and attention to hygiene levels were 100% perfect. You cannot tell how beautiful the pool is from the internet photos but it was absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding villages are well worth visiting, our particular favourite, Priego de Cordoba is stunning. We look forward to visiting again in the future and will recommend Casa Mimosa to everyone we know'.

'What a fabulous holiday we had at Casa Mimosa with our 2 sons 12yrs and 15yrs. We had hours of fun in the private pool equiped with inflatables. The accommodation is short of nothing and is immaculate to a very high standard. Views stunning from pool and apartment. An ideal base to tour Andalucia. Would recommend and definitely plan to return'.
