The apartment offers all the amenities required for a great holiday in the sun. It is situated on a hill overlooking the sea and a small garden and is south facing. There is a community swimming pool and gardens close to the apartment, which is on ground floor level. Torrequebrada is ideal for exploring local countryside, mountains and beaches at nearby Benalmadena, Mijas and Marbella. Within walking distance there are restaurants, cafe bars, a bank and a small supermarket. There are also regular bus services to Arroyo de la Miel, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Torrequebrada golf course is a 5 minute walk away from the apartment.

We will give a slight reduction for 3 to 4 week rentals.
Changeover day
Flexible. Arrival normally after 4pm and departure before 11am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom 2 has a deluxe, very comfortable double sofa bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 acts as a second lounge space. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath/shower over, WC and bidet. Washing machine is situated here also. |
| Kitchen: | Small modern kitchen with all essential equipment, cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and all crockery, cutlery etc. Added bonus is that there is a water filter system - so you do not have to buy any bottled water. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has a comfortable 3 seater sofa, 2 easy chairs, glass coffee table, 2 bar stools, TV, video, DVD player, stereo/CD sound system. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen provided and the apartment is cleaned before and after each rental period. |
Notes on accommodation
The air conditioning also includes the ability to heat the apartment for winter lets. It is possible to arrange for a cot if required at a small extra cost. The large 21 square metre (approx 12 feet widest depth x 16 feet across) L-shaped south-facing terrace has an overhead apartment so giving a nice cool shady area if required and the terrace is suitable for small children as the sides of the terrace are walled.

Accessibility
It is preferable but not essential to have a rental car because the apartment is at the top of a hill. However once you have entered the block the apartment is on ground level and there is a lift to the swimming pool area.
Outside
On the balcony there are two comfortable sun loungers, a table and four chairs, two airers, umbrella and stand and a small coffee table.
Coast/Beach
The nearest stony beach is at Torrequebrada which is within walking distance of the apartment. The best sandy beaches are at Benalmadena which is only 10 mins by bus or car. Good beaches can also be found at Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Benalmadena Marina can also be reached by bus or car in 10 mins and you will find many good restaurants, shops, bars etc.
Golf
The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the 18 hole championship Torrequebrada golf course where the Spanish Open was played some years ago. There are further golf courses nearby; The Parador near Malaga Airport and Laura Golf at Allhurin de Torre & a fairly new 9 hole course at very near Benalmadena. Of course there are several at Marbella.
Travel
Malaga Airport is only 20 mins away by road and a car is recommended. However, if you prefer there are plentiful taxis to be found at the airport. There is also a very good train service from the airport to Arroyo de la Miel station where you will also find lots of taxis to take you to the apartment.
Distances
The nearby coastal resorts of Benalmadena (10 mins), Fuengirola and Torremolinos (20 mins) are great places to visit. Additionally Benalmadena Pueblo (15 mins) and Mijas (30 mins) are splendid typical Spanish villages and well worth visiting. Local buses can take you to both these villages. Within a 2 hour drive you can visit the towns of Seville, Cordoba and Granada. If you want to 'people watch' you can visit Marbella or Puerto Banus within a 30 min drive.
Further details
Every Friday morning there is a large market at the local town of Arroyo de la Miel from where you can also take a cable car to the mountain peaks.
Tivoli Amusement Park is nearby and is very popular with locals and tourists and great fun for all ages. There are large water parks at nearby Torremolinos and Fuengirola, a must for the young and the young at heart! Both places have their water theme parks which if you have kids are well worth a visit. On Wednesdays at midday Mijas village has Flamenco dancing and free wine is handed out.
There are many excellent restaurants, banks, supermarkets etc. in all the local towns.
Booking notes
Please contact us by e-mail for availability. A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking and the balance to be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Further details of keys etc will be given once confirmation of deposit has been received. We will give a small reduction in cost for over 3 weeks stay.
