The beach is approx 15 kilometers (30 min drive) by car or local bus. Once at the coast you can walk from Algarrobo costa through Caleta with is marina on to Torre Del Mar along lovely esplanades lined with beachside restaurants.

Baviera golf approx 15 kilometers.
Travel
Malaga Airport is approx. 1 hour drive.
Car hire recommended.
Distances
The village of Competa is approx 15 walk (3 min. by car)
Torre Del Mar with large shopping mall is a half hour drive away; an Aqua park is situated directly across from the shopping mall.
A tram service from Torre Del Mar takes you to the charming town of Velez Malaga.
The town of Nerja with its charming caves is slightly more touristic.
All of the coastal town and mountain villages have market days where you can savour the atmosphere of traders and bargain hunters alike.
Further details
Competa has numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, bakers, supermarkets, chemists, doctors, dentist, hairdresser and souvenir shops.
There are three banks and taxi firms.
The adjacent village Canillias De Albaida offers more of the same charming quaintness.
Goats are seen grazing on the hillside and olive avocado and orange and lemon groves surround the countryside.
Booking notes
One third deposit is required on booking (by cheque or bank to bank)
The balance is due paid 8 weeks before arrival.
A £100 breakage deposit is paid on arrival and is refunded on departure if no breakages are sustained.
