4 bedroom, 3 bathroom (2 ensuite), airconditioned, spacious and comfortable family villa. Including private swimming pool with decking, numerous garden areas, and terraces ideal for outside living. Located on the Torre Gran, residential estate with views across the countryside to Playa de Pals. Built only 6 years ago to a high standard with neighbours on only 1 side. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m with a decking of 125sqm, totally enclosed in its own area, overlooked by the terraces. Built on a plot of 800 sqm the actual house is 200sqm. The gardens are mature and the pool and front area is edged by 2m+ high cypress trees. Cleaned thoroughly before your arrival with fresh bedlinen and bathroom towels provided (a change of linen and towels after 1st week is available at an additional cost. Beach towels are also available at 3 euros per towel). For 2009 beach towels will be included. Off street parking for 2 cars. A family home during the winter with no smoking indoors and no pets please.

Prices are for the rental of the property per week and are in UK Pounds.
Price based on 8 people sharing. Extra cost for 9th or 10th person using bed settee in lounge, is £10 per person per night. Minimum rental 7 nights. Prices include a change of bedlinen and cleaning service each Saturday, plus bath & beach towels. Also pool and garden maintanence is included.
10% Deposit required to hold booking. Final balance required 8 weeks prior to arrival day. Credit Card payments accepted.

Family shower room between the 2 twin rooms, shower, wc, bidet, handbasin. Hairdryers in all bath/shower rooms.
Kitchen: Separate, fully fitted, well equipped kitchen with halogen, 4-ring hob, oven, double sink, upright fridge/freezer, dish washer microwave. Access onto terrace with barbecue. Granite worktops and back splash. Really well equipped with a variety of utensils.
Utility Room: The utility room is accessed via the back door of the property. It comprises a sink with hot and cold water, granite work top and washing machine. There are clothes airers, pegs, hoover, iron and ironing board available, plus cool box & beach parasols.
Living Rooms: A partially open plan, lounge & dining area with a comfy 4 seater sofa, various rocking chairs plus a double sofabed. Dining area for up to 10 persons that can be moved on to terrace. French doors lead to the south & west facing terraces. TV, DVD and Sky.
Other: From the lounge/dining area & kitchen there is a large south & west facing terrace. Via a gate,steps from the terrace lead down on to the 125 sq.m. decked area of the swimming pool. A pergola at the far end of the pool area completes this outside space.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The property will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. Check in from 4pm and check out at 10am. All beds will have light weight duvets with fresh bedlinen. Bathroom and beach towels supplied. Saturday 'maid' service incl for guests staying 14 nights+.

 

Notes on accommodation
Particularly ideal for families with young children as it is possible to close off the swimming pool and decked area from the terrace, and 2 garden areas. Ideal to exclude young children when there is no adult supervision around the pool area.

There is a full length gate closing the property off from the street.

There are 3 air conditioning units around the property, but are only effective when all doors and windows are closed. These units also blow hot air and can be used in cooler weather.

All accessible doors and windows have shutters for extra security and to keep the heat of the day out if closed.

Accessibility
There are 3 downstairs bedrooms. However, there are some steps leading up to the front door and up from the pool area. There are 3 steps from the bedroom corridor down into the lounge/dining area and kitchen. There is an internal staircase leading from the lounge to the upstairs master bedroom and en suite. We have fitted child stair gates at stair access points.

Outside
The 200sqm property sits in a plot of 800msq. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m surrounded by 125sqm of decking. It is an oblong building with a forest area at the back, long side and a lawned area at the front side. At the south end of the house is the pool and decked area with a pergola at its extremity. The north end has another lawned area with palm tree, shingle drive with car port and flower beds.
Bourgonvillea and jasmine climb the walls and there are 2m+ high cypress trees or screened fencing surrounding the property.
We will supply numerous reclining sunloungers and high backed, patio chairs, parasols and a bar-b-que.

Coast/Beach
The L´Estartit Beach is one of the the best in the area. A 6km long, sandy beach that gently shelves into the mediterranean sea.

Golf
The 36 Hole Championship Emporda Golf course is only a 10 min drive away. Two other 18 hole golf courses in Pals only 15 minutes drive away. 18 hole Pitch & Putt course 5 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays
An excellent location for cycling and running, scuba diving and snorkelling. Great for ramblers, windsurfers, kite surfers, and kayaking.

Travel
Gerona airport is only 45 mins drive. Barcelona airport is 1 hour 40 mins drive. Perpignan airport is 1 hour 20 mins drive.
