A luxury, fully air conditioned, detached 4/5 bedroom front line golf villa, with uninterrupted views over the golf course, to the countryside and sea beyond. Located in a quiet street within the prestigious "gated community" of Las Ramblas Golf resort, the villa is decorated to a very high standard with beautiful private gardens. Upper and lower private terraces overlook the garden and the large private pool. Las Ramblas is a safe and secure residential golf course, with an international mix of permanent residents and holidaymakers. It is well suited for children, as there is very little traffic. A peaceful and attractive environment, but within very easy reach of all facilities. Local shops and restaurants are a short walk or drive away. There is a large variety of restaurants in the area to suit all tastes. The local beaches are minutes away by car and are classified as "blue flag". The still waters and beaches of the Mar Menor are within 10 minutes drive.

Outside
The villa has upper and lower terraces, with stunning views over the private garden and pool, to the golf course (the villa is front line golf) and over the surrounding countryside. There are views to the sea. The garden is sunny and peaceful, with facilities for outside dining and sunbathing around the pool. There is a gas BBQ for your use. Additionally, there is a large terrace with awning, accessed from the sitting room, with comfortable conservatory style furniture. This terrace overlooks the garden. There is also an upper terrace. This is a peaceful and private location - ideal for a villa centred family holiday.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is Campoamor, located at 5 minutes drive. There is ample parking at this beach.
This is a beautiful blue flag beach - well maintained and has two beach bar/restaurants with WC. The far end of the beach extends into the local marina and there are two restaurants situated here.
There are many beaches within very easy reach - ranging from the long beaches of La Marina, with pine forests behind, to the beaches of the inland lagoon of the Mar Menor, with warm still waters.
Golf
The villa is situated on the fabulous Las Ramblas 18 hole golf resort. A new clubhouse is in the process of being completed on the golf course and should be in use by the Summer 2008. This will include a formal restaurant and a brasserie. The golf course of Campoamor is situated next to Las Ramblas and it is a short drive or a 20 minute stroll to the excellent facilities of the Clubhouse. There is an excellent restaurant and also facilities for tennis and swimming. Villamartin golf course is some five minutes away.
Travel
The closest airport is Murcia (MJV) which is no more than 15 minutes drive to Las Ramblas. Alicante (ALC) airport is an easy 40 minute drive.
It is recommended that a car is booked for holidays at Las Ramblas in order to enable you to fully enjoy all the amenities of the area. If you do not drive, it is possible to arrange transport from the airport and for you to use taxis locally if you wish to travel to the local towns or beaches.
Distances
Torrevieja is a lively, local town - with a fabulous beachfront promenade, nightly market and a great choice of restaurants. There is a large marina and many interesting shops. Torrevieja is some 10 minutes drive away.
The fabulous baroque city of Murcia is 25 minutes drive away and has fabulous architecture and wonderful restaurants.
The cosmopolitan resort of Alicante is situated 40 minutes to the north of Las Ramblas.
Elche, with its central palm grove, is 25 mintes away.
Further details
There is a large Mercadona supermarket and a new Commercial centre with shops, banks, restaurants and a pharmacy within 10 minutes walk of Las Ramblas.
The area has many fabulous restaurants, catering for all tastes and budgets - mostly within a 5 minute drive.
There is a large water park in nearby Torrevieja.
The island of Tarbarca may be visited by boat from Torrevieja or Guardamar in the summer. It has no cars and gives the impression of travelling back in time!
The larger theme parks of Terra Mitica and Aqualandia are within easy reach.
For the energetic, there are fabulous walks in the National Park of the Sierra de Espuna, situated just to the other side of Murcia. Local restaurants within the area will prepare fresh paella for you while you recover from your efforts.
Closer to Las Ramblas, there are facilities for horse riding, paint balling, tennis and, of course, golf.
For fabulous shopping, visit Murcia, Elche (especially for shoes) or one of the large local shopping Centres situated locally - Los Dos Mares or Las Habaneras.
This area is really whatever you want it to be! From the peace and tranquility of Las Ramblas, you can be in the heart of a bustling city, in a small sleepy inland town, in a quiet bay or on a large metropolitan beach - all within no more than an hour's drive at the most.
A perfect place for a relaxing and interesting break!
