Excellent exclusive vacation home for adults who value silence, quietness of unique natural environment and wish to discover the historical, gastronomic and cultural wonders of North Eastern Spain. 1h 20 min to Barcelona, 30 min to Girona city (train station) and Girona/Costa Brava airport, 120km to Perpignan Airport,France. Surrounded by beautiful oak forests. The house is secluded and very private. If you are interested in art, architecture, antiques, medieval villages and churches, we can organize the best visit and day trips according to your taste. If you are a mountain hiker, our area is very close to a National Park and the mountains around us are full of challenging hikes. If you enjoy the beach and the sea, we are just less than 1 hour drive to very scenic secluded beaches and seaside villages of the Costa Brava (Figueres, Cadaques, Roses among a few). Very close to reasonable country restaurants and amazing restaurants awarded Michelin stars in less than 30 mins driving.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day, Saturday preferred day. Arrival and departure times agreed with guests and depending on next guests arrival. Saturday or Sunday for July and August bookings.

Notes on accommodation
We welcome adult guests looking for privacy, quietness of a natural environment, close to the mountains and Costa Brava beaches. We speak English, French and some German. The absence of protection fence around the swimming pool, the quality of interior furnishings, no bathtub in the bathroom (but spacious shower) make this accommodation better suited for adult guests.

Submitted Aug.26 If you are looking for a place that is easy to find, close to the beautiful cities of Girona, Barcelona and the Pyrenees but yet set in rural surroundings for a tranquil rest away from it all then you have found the right place. The house owners have that "just right" ability to not intrude on your holiday but at the same time make you feel most welcome and offer help if you need it. The house is in perfect order and the website pictures do not do justice to the copper guttering and stone bathroom sink amongst all the other first class parts of the building. The pool was again better than the photos, made in beautiful smooth finishing’s and just right to swim, play and or relax in/beside. The view is uninterrupted green mountains, rolling into every distance you look. Sat on the porch, sitting room comfy chairs and or standing in the well equipped kitchen, you can also take in the views and relax back to full strength, paint.
