This lovely townhouse comprises of large entrance hall with marble staircase, going through to the lounge and comfortable dining area with dining table and chairs, here we have a TV with satellite (please bring your own Sky card). Along the hallway we have a very handy downstairs toilet with shower and washbasin. In the good sized kitchen we offer a washing machine, oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, the door from the kitchen opens onto a lovely bright courtyard area with patio set, BBQ and parasol - perfect for evening dining alfresco! Upstairs we have 4 beautiful large bedrooms, 2 have double beds and 2 have twin beds, we have furnished the rooms in a light, clean and modern style with good quality linen (linen included in your rental). We have oil filled radiators, air-conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. Upstairs you will find the second family bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and washbasin. Off the master bedroom we have a great small balcony.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and do not include the use of the air-conditioning. The air-conditioning doubles as heating in the winter months and is operated with a simple handset.
Changeover day
Our changeover day will be Saturday. We may be flexible, please contact us with your dates. Check out is 10am and check in is 3pm.

Notes on accommodation
Our town house is new, modern and very well insulated. For summer lets we have installed ceiling fans and air-conditioning, and for winter lets we have oil filled radiators and the air-conditioning also blows hot air. The property tends to be quiet cool in the summer and warm in the winter! The window shutters also help to keep the heat out in the summer.

Outside
We have a lovely courtyard for BBQ's together with table, chairs and parasol. The private walkway to the front of the property is a great area to sit outside and join in the fun with the local children and Spanish families.
Coast/Beach
Garrucha/Vera Beach is a very short 10 minute drive away where you will find a fishing port and marina with a tree lined promenade with numerous local fish restaurants where you can sample the 'Catch of the day'. The beautiful safe, sandy beach is a firm favourite with sunbathers and swimmers. San Juan de los Terranos is 15 minutes drive away, the beach here is very long and sandy with the sea gently shelving making it an ideal beach for children, ample beach bars look onto this lovely beach.

Numerous 18 hole golf courses nearby.
Desert Springs Golf Course is only 5 minutes drive away, a great course to test your golf skills, for those less interested in golf the Crocodile Club at Desert Springs is a fabulous place to swim, catch a sun tan and dine in their great restaurant!
Valle de Este Golf Resort within a 15 minute car journey with a 4* Hotel, spa Facilities, restaurants and shops (10 minutes drive)
Marina del al Torre Golf Course is an 18 hole course situated in Mojacar which is a 15 minute car journey.
Cotijo Grande Golf Course in Turre, near Mojacar, again a 15 minute car journey.
Travel
Almeria Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive away, Murcia is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes and Alicante is 1 hour and 45 minutes drive away. If you wish you could catch a taxi from Almeria Airport, holidaying at our house is very easy as you can walk to all the local amenities and catch a bus to the beach, however to enable guests to enjoy the beautiful region of Almeria a hire car is more preferable.
Distances
Our town house is in the heart of Cuevas del Almanzora, which is a beautifully typical Spanish town. Within 2 minutes walk from our house there is a wonderful Spanish restaurant and bar - 5 minutes walk from a good selection of tapas bars, some restaurants, banks and supermarkets. You don't need a car here - everything is on hand. Just a few minutes walk away for 1 euro, you can spend the day at the lovely local community pool where you relax, swim and sunbathe on loungers.
Further details
Just round the corner (walking) from the townhouse is a wonderful park complete with children's playground. Walk towards the centre of Cuevas and you come to a cooling fountain in a pretty square where you can sit and have a glass of wine or two and tapas and watch the Spanish people go about their business. Go past the square and up the road and you come to a traditional Spanish Castle that you can visit which also houses an art gallery and where twice weekly markets are held where fresh fruit and vegetables are sold.
Holidaying in Cuevas del Almanzora you will experience a truly Spanish feel! Cuevas, as the name suggest means 'Cave Houses' and there is a cave house museum in the town where you can experience the feeling of living in a cave!
About an hours journey from Cuevas del Almanzora to Tabernas is the world famous Mini Hollywood where many spaghetti westerns were filmed. Another great day out for the whole family with full cowboy shoot out shows! There is also a lovely zoo there too.
A 15 minute drive from Cuevas is the Aqua Parque at Vera Playa which is a fun family day out. Water Slide Galore!
A 10 minutes drive away is a Go Kart Track, Fun for all the Familiy.
Cabo de Gato National Park about 45 mins - 1 hours drive.
Granada about 2 hours drive. Ski Resort in Sierra Nevada, near Granada about a 2 hour drive away.
There are some very good weekly markets in Cuevas and surrounding towns, selling fresh fruit & vegetables, clothes, shoes etc. A list of all market details and dates are available at the townhouse.
Booking notes
To confirm your booking we will require a deposit of £250, plus 25% of the rental. The full cost of the town house rental will be due 8 weeks prior to your departure. Your deposit will be returned to you within 10 days of your arrival home assuming no breakages. Please check our availability page, if your preferred dates are free either email or call us to provisionally book your dates which we will happily put on hold for you for 7 days whilst you secure your flights!
