This self-catering, rural villa is newly built in a quiet area on the border of Barcelona and Tarragona. A perfect family holiday rental, it has 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Set within landscaped gardens totalling 2000sqm with Mediterranean plants and trees. The area behind the house is totally private and has a swimming pool, sauna and large BBQ area (stone built) perfect for alfresco dining, plus a separate area with a bar for dancing. The nearest village of Pontons is a typically Spanish village and very friendly. There are 2 very good restaurants, a bar, patisserie, pharmacy and two mini supermarkets. The surrounding countryside is perfect for rambling and is a cycler“s paradise with miles of quiet, winding country lanes to negotiate. The many vineyards and Bodegas in the area welcome visits and offer free wine tastings. A 30/40 minute drive will take you to the beaches of Tarragona, Sitges and Vilanova i Geltru.

Changeover day
Arrival and departure days and times are totally flexible in order to accommodate guests flight times.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All bed linen and a generous supply of towels are provided. The house is cleaned each week together with a change of linen and towels. |
Notes on accommodation
The house has full central heating plus a real log fire (wood supplied). A welcome pack is provided on arrival which includes essentials such as bread, milk, water, juice, coffee, tea, cheese and ham. Both bathrooms have complimentary toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. There is a small library of books available plus a selection of music CDs. The house and large grounds are perfect for children, although very small children should be supervised in the swimming pool.

Accessibility
The house is not accessible to wheelchairs however the elderly or partially mobile with find the house and surrounding area no problem.
Outside
The house is set in the middle of 2000sqm of landscaped gardens which are planted with Mediterranean trees, shrubs and areas of lawn. The back area of the house is totally private with views of the surrounding woods.
There is a patio leading to the private swimming pool with chairs for sunbathing, plus a sauna set amongst the trees to the right. The large BBQ area to the left of the swimming pool has a pagoda and stone built BBQ together with a table and chairs for dining. Behind the swimming pool area is a purpose built area with a bar and lighting for dancing.
The front of the house has a drive for parking and stairs leading up to the house and further plants and shrubs.
Coast/Beach
The urbanisation of Mas Llenas is just inland from the coast of Costa de Garraf. The nearest beach is Tarragona and is approximately 40 minutes by car. The beaches of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltru are a 45 minute drive away. Vilanova i la Geltru is very much a Spanish seaside town with wonderful restaurants and a white sandy beach. Very much the opposite, Sitges is a lively seaside resort with a long, beautiful white sandy beach, promenade and numerous restaurants, shops and bars.
Travel
The nearest airport is Reus, approximately 45 minutes by car. Barcelona airport is 1¼ hours by car. Although public transport is available, the nearest village of Pontons is a 10 minute drive and a car is recommended in order to explore the area fully and have easy access to the coast.

Further details
The nearest village of Pontons has all the essential shops plus restaurants. The next villages on are Torrelles de Foix and Sant Marti Sarroca which are 15 minutes by car and are well worth visiting. Sant Marti has a beautiful, listed castle with views across the region and no less than 8 restaurants. Vilafranca del Penedes is the Wine town of Alt Penedes. You will find a wine museum, church, numerous shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The Saturday morning traditional market is famous for its wide offering of goods. Montserrat mount has a cable car that will take you to the top with breathtaking views and the world famous 'Black Madonna'.
Visit the monasteries of Santes Creus and Poblet. See the Cistercian Abbey of Santes Creus with its Chapter House and Gothic cloister dating back to the 14th Century. Tarragona town offers numerous things to do and see including its Roman ampitheatre, shops, restaurants, church etc. For some fun and games visit Port Aventura in Salou, approximately 1 hour by car, it is the 2nd largest theme park in Europe with one of the largest roller coasters and an enormous water park that children will just love.
Booking notes
A deposit of 30% of the total cost (payable by credit card or bank transfer) is requested on booking and is non-refundable. The balance is payable on arrival. No refunds are available for early departures. A security deposit of 100 euros is also payable on arrival and will be returned on departure.
