This modern first floor luxury apartment is tastefully furnished throughout. It offers 1 double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, spacious bathroom with bath & shower. In addition, the lounge has a double bed-settee and the dining area has a table and 4 chairs. The American style kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, fridge/freezer, oven & hob and has a utility room off one end which is equipped with a sink and a washing machine. There are patio doors from the lounge that open out onto the balcony. This is equipped with a table and 4 chairs, ideal for eating "al fresco" and watching the world go by. The apartment is also equipped a television with local stations and a CD music system. Although this apartment only has 1 bedroom, the sizes of the rooms are very generous and we feel sure that you would not be disappointed with this property. The swimming pool is situated barely a minute's walk from the apartment. |

Both properties are equipped with either ceiling fans or stand up fans for summer rentals and heating for winter rentals.
Outside
Both apartments are just a few steps away from each other. The first apartment has a large balcony and a large private roof terrace which is equipped with table, chairs, sun beds and a fitted shower. The other apartment has table and chairs on the balcony. Both have a communal swimming pool.
Coast/Beach
There are many sandy beaches and coves within walking distance or just a 5 minute drive away you can reach La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Los Nosfragos to ame but a few
Golf
For the Golf fanatics Torrevieja boasts some of the finest courses on the Costa Blanca. Villamartin, Campoamor & Las Ramblas are all a short drive away from Playa Flamenca. Approximately a 1 hr drive to the South brings you to the sports complex of La Manga which boasts one of Europe`s finest tennis centres, 3 Golf courses, & many other excellent sporting & recreational facilities.
Travel
Alicante is a 35 minute drive to the North. Murcia is a 25 minute drive to the South. We can advise on car hire or arrange airport transfers for you.
Distances
There are many restaurants & bars within walking distance & 4 large supermarkets nearby. There is a weekly street market where you can purchase fresh fruit & vegetables, leather goods, clothes & gifts. Torrevieja town centre is only a 10 min drive away. It is a great place for shopping, taking a walk along the promenade or just sitting in one of the many outside cafes sampling the local tapas & watching the world go by.
Further details
Costa Blanca has the reputation of being one of the safest destinations in the world. If you want to enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the true Spanish style then Playa Flamenca is the place for you. Torrevieja is reputed to have one of the healthiest climates in the world due to its natural salt lakes. Many people use the mud baths & salt lakes to alleviate their aches & pains. There are also some natural hot spas in this area - Fortuna & Archena are 1 hr drive away through almond groves & picturesque mountains.
Playa Flamenca offers a continuous series of sandy coves & Blue Flag beaches. There is a commercial centre just a 10 minute walk away which offers many bars, restaurants and shops.
There are lots of interesting places to visit. These include Elche, the historical town of Cartagena, Murcia, Orihuela, Alicante, La Manga & many more. For a relaxing day out one could take the ferry over to the Island of Tabarca.
There are many salt lakes & nature parks close by, these include the "Torrevieja" & "La Mata" salt lakes just 10-15 min drive from Playa Flamenca. The most interesting areas for bird watching are: Punta de La Isleta & Saladar, over 100 different bird species have been seen in the area particularly water birds. During the winter La Mata lake becomes a refuge to many "Anatidas" that come from different hunting areas & take advantage of the fact that the lake has been a National Hunting refuge since 1989. There are occasions when the numbers observed are superior to 10,000. There is also the "Zampullin Cuellinegro" fairly common in the lakes also other species observed are : Great White Egrets, Bonellis Eagle, Perigrine, Chiffchaffs, Northern Wheatears & of course Flamingos.
