We are just 15 minutes from 2 of the best market towns on this coast, Moraira and Javea with their superb beaches, markets and eating/drinking establishments from cocktail bars to Spanish family restaurants! A short drive from Denia, Calpe and the Jalon Valley. Ibiza can be seen from our house over the blue sea! The amazing communal pool (you have key access when renting our house) with poolside cafe-bar is less than 2 mins from the house (and is never crowded - it also has a kids small bouncy castle in high season) and a bank, lovely restaurant, pharmacy, local shop and floodlit tennis courts are within walking distance. The fabulous Moraig beach is an energetic walk or easy 5 minute drive down the cliffs with its bar and views. The area boasts beaches, mountain and cliff top walks, valley views, many restaurants, bars and markets although you could spend all your time just relaxing locally.

Accessibility
Cumbre del Sol is on a mountain and the hire of a car will give flexibility for visiting anywhere in the area (available from the airport or online at a reasonable cost). However some find the facilities of the mountain are all they need and will rely on a taxi (again reasonably priced).
Nearby roads are reasonably flat and access to the house involves only two steps. The house is a 2 storey property with the 2 bedrooms upstairs and bed settee in the lounge.
Outside
There are 2 terraces outside ideal for a relaxing drink in the evening as well as breakfasts or barbecues! Additionally, the roof terrace is wonderful for enjoying the sun in private and providing an alternative peaceful area with lovely cliff and sea views. The amazing communal pool is only 2 minutes walk away with its bar/bistro and children's area and huge space for peaceful sunbathing/reading.
Coast/Beach
Moraig beach is only 5 mins drive.
The beaches of Javea and Moraira are approximately 10 minutes drive with Denia and Calpe about 20 minutes away. Further away is Benidorm with its beach and nightlife (about 40 minutes away).
Golf
There are superb golfing facilities only 5-10 minutes drive away at Javea with another in Moraira.
Travel
Alicante is approximately an hour away and Valencia is about 75 minutes away. Car hire is available from those airports and is recommended although not essential if you just want to "chill out" on the mountain!

Benidorm, approximately 40 minutes drive.
Further details
The area has plenty of well priced restaurants, bars, live music (Spanish, jazz, rock and blues), cafes, fabulous beaches and coves waiting to be discovered! There are the tourist features of Guadalest (up in the mountains with views to die for!), the pretty multi-coloured houses of seaside towns and villages, together with Benidorm's nightlife and theme park/water park etc.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit to be paid on confirmation together with a £200 refundable security deposit. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. No smoking in the house.
