The apartment is on the Mediterranean side of the La Manga strip with uninterrupted sea views of the Med and the Mar Menor. It has a private 12m balcony which is not overlooked. All the rooms lead off from this balcony - only the sounds of the sea can be heard. There is a private communal pool and parking area. Within easy walk of shops bars and the marina as well as transport links. A bus stops outside and a ferry is 5 mins walk away to colourful markets and the famous local rejuvenating mud. The old towns of Cartegensa and Murcia are worth visiting and within easy reach as are the busier towns of Torrevieja and Alicante. All water sports sailing water skiing boat trips to the islands and much more on offer. 17 golf courses and the famous La Manga golf club for tennis and golf is 10 minutes drive from the strip. The area is an ideal place to relax and get away from it all. A natural conservation area.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Long lets will be considered. The apartment can be booked on a daily basis and this will incur £35 cleaning charge. The owner is very flexible and will accommodate for any combinations of rental that suit the client to accommodate cheaper airline fees.

Outside
The balcony is 12sqm and is a wonderful outdoor area with stunning sea views of 2 seas and completely private. Sounds of the sea is all you can hear and it provides an ideal place to come and relax.
The communal private pool and children’s paddling pool (cleaned daily) overlooks the Med with garden, sun terrace with showers and foot baths. Seating areas in the outside of the apartments so if you get tired with the Med you can go round the other side and look at the Mar Menor for beautiful sunsets.
Coast/Beach
Property is located between 2 seas. Located right on the Mediterranean sea and at the rear Mar Menor sea. The Mar Menor is ideal for sailing, water sports and offers safe bathing. The beach on the Mediterranean sea side has beautiful white sand and is ideal for sunbathing and relaxing in the clear blue water. Lovely view across to an island.
Golf
Within easy reach of 17 golf courses and the La Manga club is 10 mins drive from the strip. 10 mins drive away is a 9 hole golf course by the Med.
Skiing
Skiing is in the Sierra Nevada 2½ hours drive away so you can ski in the morning and be on the beach and swim in the afternnoon.
Special interest holidays
Great for beach, golfing, sailing and bird watching as this is an area of natural conservation. In the Spring the hills are great for hill walkers and site seeing in Murcia and Cartagena is a must look out for the festivals such as the Semanta Santa at Easter.
Travel
Located only 35 minutes from Murcia airport which offers direct flights from UK. Car hire can be arranged at Murcia and is recommended if you wish to see the area. Airport pick can be arranged on request. Normal fare would be 40-50 euros each way. Welcome packs can also be arranged on request. There is a bus which goes up and down the strip for under 1 euro and stops outside the apartments.
Distances
Located in La Manga del Mar Menor and only a short stroll to all amenities. The famous city of Categena is only a 35 min drive away and the university city of Murcia only 45 mins drive.

70% of guests from last year have booked again this year this to me is a great testimonial. The main comment is the views and beach is breathtaking and unlike any other Spanish holiday resort. This is a Spanish holiday area and has been a well kept secret lets keep it that way!

About the owner
I bought this apartment from plan and it was finished in Jan 2007. The builder is Grimanga and the finish is first class. It is very beautiful with uninterrupted front line panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor. I wanted the view to sit and relax and write and not be overlooked. It is a great place for total chill out. I've decorated it so it is comfortable and homely and as I am a Feng Shui consultant I like to think it is just perfect for getting away from it all. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and I prefer that you call me on my mobile as I am often there or working all over the world and therefore not always on line and so would not want to miss your enquiry cos believe me you wouldn't want to miss this little gem. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I love the area because it is totally unspoilt and I hope to spend winters there in my retirement. The biggest joy about my apartment is that all the rooms lead onto a 12 square metre balcony and all you can hear and see is the sea. In fact if you claim the bed next to the window you can watch the sunrise on the Med without even taking your head off the pillow! Some days I just sit on the balcony and stare out for hours. It has a unique view in the building as I am not overloooked by anyone and so the privacy means that its a lovely place to be and chill out. The freeview TV means you can still stay connected to home if you need to but watching the snow while you are relaxing having your breakfast on the sun on my balcony is a real treat. The nice things to do are go to the local markets.
Unique benefits of the property
My Apartment is near a lovely Spanish bar called the Parque Bote which is great for tapas and meals ,the supermarket is near this bar as are a couple of cafes a petange and tennis courts. Then there is the marina with bars and restaurants with breathtaking views over the Mar Menor. The ferry terminal her takes you for 4 euros to the market on the other side and trips around the islands. There is also a 9 hole golf course and luxury bar with a pool at the end of the strip with great views of the flamingos. A bus goes sup and down the strip for 1 euro you can visit the Sunday market ,have a lovely lunch at a beach restaurant and then go for a swim before getting the bus home which stops right outside my apartment block. Go and sample the mud at San Pedro a world famous treatment for the skin
