Apartment is situated on a hill 10 minutes walk from sandy beach, close to four 4* hotels whose facilities can be used by apartment guests. Numerous other sandy beaches are within easy driving distance.

Located on Marina de la Torre 18 hole course. Driving range plus pitch and put and putting green. Close to Desert Springs and Valle del Este golf courses.
Travel
45 minutes from Almeria airport, 1.5 hours from Murcia airport and 2.5 hours from Alicante. Car hire is recommended as most shops are not within easy walking distance.
Distances
Garrucha, Vera, Mojacar Playa and Mojacar village close by, Almeria and Murcia and the Alpujarra mountains within striking distance for a day out. Waterpark and go-karting suitable for adults and children are close by.

About the owner
We have been visiting Mojacar since 2001 when our children were 3 and 8; they're now 12 and 17 - gosh where did the years go! I think we all agree that it's not summer if we haven't been to Mojacar. From the first visit I've felt at home there. It's very peaceful. Last summer, after 10 days in Mojacar we caught the train from Almeria to Madrid, a wonderfully smooth and efficient journey, not to mention good value at 17 euros each! We'd not visited Madrid before, although we have explored Almeria, Murcia, Granada, Seville and Barcelona tying in trips with our stays at the apartment. Madrid topped the lot though even in August. So much to see and do; truly something for every one of us! So, we love our apartment by the sea but Spain has so much more to offer - why not try it all?

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We wanted a family holiday destination by the sea for year round guaranteed sunshine. What we found was Mojacar; a well-kept secret and Spain's own seaside holiday destination of choice. This means that what you get is an informal and relaxed holiday atmosphere catering to the Spanish and British holiday makers. That's because Mojacar hasn't really stayed a secret for long. For those in the know, it's a place to return to year after year. We can take advantage of the fact that it caters to the Spanish market with little beach restaurants serving the freshest fish and seafood whilst benefiting from the warm welcome it provides to British holiday makers too. There's even an area where you can eat British food at the times you want and catch those important sporting events too.
Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is in a peaceful location on the hillside overlooking the sea and the Marina de la Torre golf course so it enjoys fabulous views. The balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, read a book or enjoy dinner whilst admiring the sunset, or spend the day on the roof terrace soaking up the rays. On more energetic days it provides the ideal base to explore the mountain village of Mojacar Pueblo or the fishing village of Garrucha just along the road.
