This beautiful modern detached villa sits in the quiet Cap de la Nau area of Javea and enjoys extensive sea views. At the same time it is just 4 miles from Javea's centre with it's 3 aspects: the blue flag sandy beach (lifeguard attended in the main season), the working port and old Gothic town. The villa's 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms accommodate 6 people comfortably. The well stocked Mediterranean style garden with palms and orange trees is both secluded and enclosed by a secure gate inside and there is ample room for parking. The floodlit 8m x 4m swimming pool is set in the privacy of the back garden. Excellent local restaurants and supermarket are just a short walk away from the villa. Javea is a family friendly resort which boasts up to 325 days of sunshine per year and the World Health Organisation has designated the area climatically and environmentally, one of the healthiest places on earth.

Changeover day
Saturday is usually the first day of any stay but we are happy to discuss alternatives outside of peak time. Standard access time to the villa is 15.00 although we are sometimes able to pull this forward. Exit time on the day of departure is 10.00.

Bedrooms: There are 2 twin bedded rooms with built-in double wardrobes and ceiling fans. The master bedroom on the first floor is circular, has a double bed, a large pinewood wardrobe plus chest of drawers. French doors lead to a private sun terrace.
Bathrooms: On the ground floor between the two bedrooms there is a large shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin, wc and bidet.
The circular master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom including bath with shower, a wash basin, wc and bidet.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen with modern units has a washing machine, fridge, freezer, an electric oven with gas hob, a microwave plus toaster. Ample kitchen utensils allow you to cook in if you so wish. There is an ironing board with iron.
Living Rooms: The lounge is spacious with tiled floor, leather sofas and a beautiful Tosca stone fireplace with gas fire. There is a TV, DVD system and ample DVDs for viewing. Board games and books are also available for your use.
Other: An archway leads from the lounge to the circular dining room with round table and seating for 6. The pine sideboard holds dinner service and glasses. There is a music system for CDs, tapes and radio. French doors lead out onto the naya (covered patio).
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The villa is cleaned between lets. A welcome pack awaits your arrival. Linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for use at the poolside and beach. For fortnightly rentals, linen is changed mid-stay at no extra cost.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has stand alone, oil-filled electric radiators. We respectfully ask that guests do not smoke inside the villa or on the covered patio area. No pets please.

Accessibility
The villa has five steps from the main patio/pool area to the front door.

Outside
Villa Marzo sits in it's own grounds of generous proportions. Around the private pool with orange trees on one side, there are sunbeds for your use. There is a brick built BBQ for alfresco dining and also an outdoor Paella burner. From the surrounding sun terrace, 5 steps lead up to the naya, a covered patio area with views towards the sea; an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a glass of Sangria. There is a table with six chairs.

Coast/Beach
Javea is renowned for it's natural beauty and there are many walks of varying difficulty: Cap de la Nao itself, with it's working lighthouse is just half a mile from the villa. A spectacular coastline with breathtaking views. Portichol (Portitxol) and La Granadella, both favourites and just a short distance from the villa. The beautiful sandy beach (El Arenal) is only 4 miles from the villa and is flanked by restaurants, bars and shops. There are other, smaller beaches nearby.

Golf
There are 3 golf courses nearby: Club de Golf, Javea, Campo de Golf, La Sella, (near Jesus Pobre) and Club de Golf, Ifach.

Travel
Villa Marzo is well served by 2 international airports. Alicante airport is around 1 hour and 15 minutes drive south, whilst Valencia airport, to the North, takes slightly longer at approx 1 hour 30 minutes.

Distances
Javea's centre is 10 minutes' drive from the villa, whilst Moraira is 15 minutes away. If you wish to travel slightly further, other places of interest include the Port of Denia, Montgo Mountain Natural Park, the Algar Waterfalls at Callosa, Guadalest (and it's Castle), the Marine and Exotic Animal Park (Mundomar) in Benidorm, the Water Park (Aqualandia) also in Benidorm, the City of Valencia and the wine producing village of Jalon Valley.

Further details
There are a few excellent restaurants in easy walking distance of the villa and also a high-quality supermarket. The larger resort of Calpe with it's prominent rock just off the coast also has a sandy beach and is about 45 minutes drive south of Javea. There are several local markets. The Javea market is weekly each Thursday (closes around 13.00) and the town also has a fish market which opens at 18.00 most days.

Booking notes
We would kindly request a £100 deposit to secure each week of rental, with the balance due 8 weeks before departure. At this time we ask for a £100 refundable deposit in case of any damage or breakages. Separate literature will be sent to customers showing directions from the airports and we are more than happy to advise on car hire etc.
