Situated on a 10,000 sq.m. plot the property is accessed by a long sweeping drive through a vineyard and an avenue of almond trees. A secure courtyard at the back of the property provides a safe play area for younger children. There is a large pool 9m x 5m with extensive terraced areas both open and covered. The large grounds allow for areas for individual privacy with plenty of shade beneath Olive and Carob trees. Finished to a high standard the property is both light and airy. The village is a short walk away along a quiet country lane. The large shopping centre at Ondara is only 15 mins by car and the coastal beach resorts of Calpe, Moraira, Denia and Javea 20-30 mins drive.

Changeover day
Check-in time on your day of arrival is 4pm. The change over day or day of departure is flexible where at all possible, but usually we would ask that you vacate the villa by 12 noon on the day of departure.

Bathrooms: Large en suite walk in shower with wc and twin basins to master bedroom.
Family bathroom with bath/shower, wc and twin basins.
Kitchen: Modern luxury fitted kitchen with a gas cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender and electric kettle. Cooking utensils, pots/pans, glassware, crockery, cutlery. Pine dining table seating 6/8 in kitchen/dining room.
Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron and 100 litre hot water tank.
Living Rooms: Lounge includes satellite TV, DVD, log burner and 2 large sofas. Double doors to covered terrace.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bedding provided (sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, tea towels). A mid-stay change of linen will incur an extra charge of £6 per person. Please advise when booking.

Notes on accommodation
We shall greet you upon your arrival and you will find a hamper including selected food items, as well as wine, beer and soft drinks. We can also arrange additional guest services including baby equipment hire and taxi services.

Accessibility
People with mobility problems may access the property from the rear courtyard with only one step up. However, there is no wheelchair ramp. 3 of the 4 bedrooms, kitchen, family bathroom (including hand rail in bath), lounge, pool and outside terracing are all on ground level.

Outside
Private pool 9m x 5m. There are steps into the pool but there is no shallow end. Sun loungers, mobile barbecue, outside dining table, chairs and a beer fridge on the covered terrace. 200m asphalt driveway and large parking area.

Coast/Beach
The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 20 - 45 mins drive. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 30 mins. Calpe 20 mins. Javea 35 mins. Altea 45 mins. Benidorm 60 mins.

Golf
There are several golf courses in the area, most within 20-50 mins drive. Benissa 9 hole course, 25 mins drive. Denia 18 hole course, 25 mins drive. Altea 18 hole course, 40 mins drive. Oliva Nova 18 hole course, 45 mins drive.

Travel
Nearest airports are Alicante (70km) and Valencia (80km). Car hire or use of a car is essential.

Distances
The sleepy village of Murla is a 5 mins walk from the house and has a bakery/mini market, vegetable market (Mondays) a small bar and 1 restaurant. The Jalon Valley is famous for its wine and Saturday rastro and offers a wealth of attractions nearby including horse riding, walking, golf and scenic mountain drives. There are a large number of restaurants to choose from in the surrounding villages of Orba, Alcalali and Parcent all offering excellent value for money.

Further details
Other places of interest in the area are a 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de Rates), only a 10 mins drive from the villa. There is also the donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys. The famous mountain spring and walks on the Sierra Bernia, only 15 minutes drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park and Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away. The area around the villa is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, bird watching and sightseeing. In addition to the paragliding there is quad biking, go-karting and an outdoor pursuits centre.

Booking notes
Prices shown are for rental of the property per week in pounds, on booking, a deposit is required equivalent to 30 per cent of the total cost. Outstanding balance due 4 weeks before the start of your holiday. A security fee of £300 is also payable upon booking (to cover any accidental damage to the property, or its contents/fixtures and fittings). This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay. A mid-stay change of linen incurs a £6 pp charge. Please advise at time of booking if required.
