Mijas Pueblo, one of the most picturesque ‘White Villages’ in the south of Spain, is a typical Andalucian village with narrow cobbled streets, flower decked balconies, intriguing shops and a vast choice of restaurants. Marbella and Puerto Banus are 25-30 kilometres.
The city of Malaga itself has much to offer the visitor, including the Pablo Picasso Museum.
For a day out you may wish to visit Gibraltar (for all your duty free goods) which is approximately an hour drive away. Located at the entrance of the Mediterranean its strategic location and history have made Gibraltar a very interesting place.
You may also want to visit Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga or Sevilla. Granada is famous for its impressive Arabian castle "El Alhambra". Sevilla is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, and has an impressive ancient square called "Plaza de España".
