The property is alarmed, fully enclosed and entry is accessed via electronic gate. For the energetic there are two exercise machines - a stepper and a cycle. this property in its tranquil surroundings is the ideal family getaway, with the added advantage of only being 5 minutes from civilisation.

Accessibility
Accessibility is ideal for all ages and mobility, the plot is situated on a mountain side but with few steps, the drive way is perfect for wheel chair access. The pool has a bench area ideal for disabled or infirm people. The second floor for bedrooms can be accessed via the large terrace with patio doors that fold back 4 metres.
Outside
The garden has many terraces and are laid to lawn, the complete plot measures 2200mtrs square. The individually designed pool has a water feature and sloping beach area. Ideal for the infirm and elderly. There is a large covered barbecue kitchen house, ideal for Paella and burgers. The views are spectacular reaching far over the hills and out to sea. The pool is for the private use of the guests. the covered terraces are perfect for that late evening drink overlooking the floodlit pool. The villa is accessed via the large electronic gates and a 40mtr long driveway.
Coast/Beach
The local sandy beaches of Oliva and other coastal towns are only a short car drive away. Known as the golden coast of the Costa Blanca the beaches have won several awards for their natural beauty, sand dunes and wildlife. Even during the summer period the 20km of beaches are not overcrowded. There are many activities to be enjoyed such as diving, canoeing, paragliding or just relaxing.
Golf
For golfing enthusiasts there are many excellent golf courses in the area. In Valencia located on a narrow stretch of dunes and dense pinewoods separating the Albufeira Lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea is the El Saler Golf Course, ranked among the Top 10 in Europe and Top 100 in the world. The adjacent Albufeira Lagoon is a vast expense of brackish waters and rice paddies, which is also a natural reserve full of birds and wild life. Other courses in and around Valencia of note include, Club de Golf Manises, Club de Golf El bosque and Club de Golf Escorpion. The prestigious Oliva Nova Golf Course is within a 10 minute drive from the villa. This course was designed by Seve Ballesteros, is reasonably priced and boasts an excellent clubhouse with restaurant. Nearby La Sella (Denia) and Javea golf courses offer excellent driving ranges and facilities.
Travel
Having a fantastic view means that the villa is high on a hillside therefore a car is essential unless you enjoy mountain biking.... Oliva is conveniently sandwiched between 2 airports both 50 minutes away by car. For the adventurous there is the car ferry at Denia traveling to Majorca and Ibiza.
Distances
Nearby amenities include windsurfing, fishing, walking, cycling, sailing, boat hire, mountain biking, horse riding and scuba diving. There are local shopping areas, theatre/cinema, historic sites and a museum. Oliva is an unspoiled charming town relatively untouched by tourism and highlighted (21/05/07) in The Mail on Sunday as 'a great traditional Spanish town to visit'. The town itself has three distinct areas: the old town with its narrow quaint streets, the Paseo area with a weekly market.

The Spanish love their fiestas and Oliva celebrates many throughout the year. These are always a treat for visitors - especially Las Fallas in March and the Moors & Christians festival in July where you can watch the magnificent parades and stay up all night to witness the re-enactment of the early morning beach invasion! 2008 - Don't miss these spectacular events that are held in this area. The main ones are: Las Fallas 15 - 19 March Superb displays and burnings in Oliva, Gandia and of course on a much larger scale in Valencia! Moors & Christians - Oliva 17 - 20 July. Fabulous processions and beach landing. European Grand Prix, Valencia. 24 August La Tomatina, Bunol (35km) west of Valencia - The biggest food throwing party in the world! There is a very nice international brasserie in the local town called Ciscars named after the admiral Gabriel Ciscar born in Oliva in 1800.
Booking notes
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner. A 25% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The balance payment together with a damage deposit of £250 (to cover losses, breakages etc.) is required eight weeks prior to the reservation date. The damage deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure following a property check. Villa can be accessed after 4pm on the day of arrival and vacated by 10am.
