A new, individual villa located within the quiet and sought after area of La Merced, near to El Campello on the Costa Blanca, located just a short walk from a secluded sandy beach. There is a large outdoor pool and terraced areas for relaxing, or just enjoying the views, with plenty of seating and loungers to enjoy alfresco dining along with a BBQ area. Children are very welcome at the villa. There are a couple of small bars/restaurants within a 10 mins walk and also a small store where you can buy general items. El Campello is only a short 5 min drive/taxi journey away and has much nightlife, bars and restaurants within the town and along the seafront. El Campello is also served with a good local tram service which runs from Alicante all the way to Denia. With views across the Mediterranean coastline and situated between the famous lively town of Benidorm and Historic Alicante, this villa is perfect for a relaxed family holiday. Set within a safe and quiet cul-de-sac location.

Changeover day
Wednesday is the changeover day, but this is flexible. Arrival at the villa is after 3.00pm and departure before 10.00am.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is set over 2 levels, the upper part of the villa has a large back terrace, ideal for taking in the sun, a double bedroom with en-suite and own private terrace with sea and mountain views. The lower part of the villa has two twin bedrooms both fitted with air-con and celing fans, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and large living/dining room, the living room opens out on to another terrace area facing the pool and BBQ. There is also a outdoor shower close to the pool area. The villa has air-conditioning and central heating throughout. A safety gate can be provided for children. There are electric gates on the property to provide extra security and peace of mind. The villa also has plenty of outside lighting around the garden and lighting set within the pool which is great for dining in the evening and a midnight swim!

Accessibility
The villa has its own driveway and parking facilities with electric gates. The lower part of the villa is easily accessible.
Outside
The garden is very well maintained with lush palm trees and plenty of lawned area. There is a large pool area with plenty of sun loungers and sun shades, the pool is a large Roman style swimming pool with steps leading in to it and a outside shower near the pool area. There is also a large terrace with plenty of seating and a nice sized family BBQ. There is plenty of patio furniture along with parasols to keep cool. The villa also has a large table tennis table and kids pool games.
Coast/Beach
La Merced beach is a 10 min walk from the villa and is a secluded sandy beach with a bar and restaurant facing the beach. The famous golden beaches and various water sports of El Campello and San Juan are a mere 5 min drive away, with Benidorm and Alicante beaches 15 min drive away.
Golf
Bonalba golf course with 18 holes, a par of 72 and total length of 6,367 meters (approx 7000 yards). The course offers seasonal views of the sea and a perfect climate to enjoy a game at any time of the year. The golf course is located in Busot, around 15 mins drive, which includes a small water park, spa, bars, restaurants and clubhouse.
Travel
Alicante airport is 20 kms away and takes around 30 mins to the villa. Murcia airport is around 1 hour and 20 mins away, and Valencia airport around 1 hour 30 mins. The use of a car is recommended.
Distances
El Campello has a market on every Wednesday and is 5 mins drive away, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and views to take in. Villa Joiosa is a beautiful old town within a 10 min drive, with a market every Thursday, it is a very old historic town with plenty to see. Benidorm is 15 mins drive away and has a market every Wednesday and Sunday. Alicante is a lovely old Town, 15 mins drive away with a beautiful marina with restaurants surrounding it to sample some traditional Spanish cooking.
Further details
There is plenty to do within a 15 min drive from the villa, such as Terra Mitica, a large theme park located just outside of Benidorm, a popular water park Aqualand for all ages, and a new theme park which also has a water park called Terra Natura. Benidorm palace is a lovely theatre with some fantastic shows all year, located in Benidorm new town and also a Medieval theme night located just outside of Benidorm and well worth going to see. Fiestas take place throughout the year and are a must see if you manage to catch one. Alicante has many places of interest to visit, such as, many of their old ruins, there are guided tours daily. You can also go on many boat trips from Alicante going to Denia, Calpe and Valencia so you can take in the splendid coastlines.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required upon confirmation of booking and the balance is due 6/8 weeks before arrival. Cancellation refunds: Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge 4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded.
Less than 2 weeks – no refund. (If the holiday is cancelled and we can re-let the villa we will refund the holiday).
