A fully air conditioned 2-bedroomed ground floor apartment with a small fairly private back garden. The apartment also has a shady front terrace with a paved garden area. In the height of the season both gardens/patio areas are sun traps whereas, in the low season the back has the sun in the morning and the front gated area has it in the afternoon. The front of the property overlooks a communal swimming pool, which has a grassed area surrounding it. Sun loungers and garden furniture are also provided.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for 2/4 persons.
Discounts available by request on 3 consecutive weeks or more.
Flights and car hire at your own expense. Airport pickups and drop offs available at extra cost. Cot and highchair hire extra.
No extra for cleaning at end of occupation.
Changeover day
Changeover day normally Saturday (flexible) but I will try to accommodate other days (especially if it is not July or August), so you can take advantage of the cheaper flights.
Arrival/departure times can be flexible depending on other bookings.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has double bed with door to the back garden, bedside cabinets and double wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, bedside cabinet and double wardrobe. The lounge has double sofabed, which can be used, all bed linen supplied. All air con & heating. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath/shower over, hand basin, wc and bidet. The bath with over shower is enclosed with sliding doors (more convenient than shower curtains). Large bathroom cabinet with mirror (Hairdryers in bedrooms). |
| Kitchen: | Ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, sandwich maker and sufficient crockery, cutlery, pots and pans for 6 persons. |
| Utility Room: | Dishwasher and washing machine located in utility room, which also stores, clothes airer, brooms, mops, iron, ironing board, cooler picnic bags, beach umbrellas, chairs etc. |
| Living Rooms: | Lounge/diner, extending table and four chairs. Double sofabed complete with linen. Radio/CD player, satellite TV/DVD player housed in wall unit containing DVDs, CDs, books, cards, stationery and most of the things you need to make it home from home. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
There are plenty of bath and hand towels provided and 2 beach towels. Tea towels and all bed linen also provided. The apartment will be cleaned when you leave the property, but should you need cleaning in between it can be arranged at extra cost. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable for children although no cots or high chairs are in the apartment but these can be arranged at extra cost.
Reversible air conditioning/heating in both bedrooms and the lounge. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms. All windows have fly/mossie screens.
Although there is provision for 6 to sleep (with the sofabed) the apartment, in my opinion, is not suitable for more than 4 adults especially as there is only one bathroom/WC.
This is a no smoking apartment but there is no reason why you cannot smoke on the terrace/gardens. I just like to keep the apartment smelling nice for everyone who rents it and myself of course.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the ground floor but there are 4 steps to the front door and 5 steps out into the back garden. Both flights of steps have handrails. Probably not suitable for wheelchair access although suitable for the elderly who can negotiate a few steps.
Outside
There is a small paved back garden with bourganvillia plants, hedging conifers and a retractable clothes line. There is also a foldaway garden table. Sunshine from early morning - more private and ideal for a quiet read and lunch in the sunshine.
The front has a paved garden/patio area with shrubs and is gated (not lockable so beware with young children). Beyond the gate is a grassed area surrounding the communal swimming pool. Sunshine here from mid morning to early evening in high season. Two sun loungers provided with a low table. There is a shady terrace with tables and 4 garden chairs - most welcome when the sun is too hot.
Coast/Beach
Approximately 10 minutes car ride to La Zenia, Cago Roig (Cala Capitan) beaches with plenty of other beaches up to 20 minutes car ride away. Both have parking nearby and beach bars. Shuttle bus operates from Villamartin Plaza during peak season July/September.
Golf
Villamartin championship standard golf club (18 holes) 5 minutes walk away. Las Ramblas and Campoamor are about 5/10 minutes drive away. La Manga is about half an hour's drive - so there is plenty of choice if you are bringing your golf clubs. I am informed that there are approximately 10 other golf courses within an hour's drive. I don't know a thing about golf, so I suggest you look at the websites of the golf clubs if you need to know more.
Travel
20/25 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javiea) Airport. 40 (motorway)/50 minutes car ride from Alicante Airport. If you decide to travel by boat to Bilbao it is approximately 8 hours drive from the port.
Arrangements can be made for airport pickups at extra cost. Should you not hire a car there are bars, restaurants, banks, supermarket, medical centre etc all within 5 minutes walk. However, I feel that you will enjoy the freedom of the holiday if you hired a car. Travel directions provided.
Distances
San Miguel, nearest Spanish town is 5 minutes drive (Great Wednesday morning market).
Playa Flamenca, 5 minutes drive (20 mins walk) Massive Saturday morning market.
Alicante town and Marina, 50 minutes drive.
Benidorm and Guadalest, approximately 90 minutes drive.
Murcia and Cartagena, approximately 40 minutes drive.
Torrevieja, approximately 15 minutes drive.
San Pedro, approximately 20 minutes drive.
Further details
Guadalest is well worth a visit if you enjoy beautiful scenery. Murcia and Cartagena are more historical and again worth a visit.
Alicante Marina is enjoyable for a late afternoon/evening trip, where you can dine and watch the boats in the harbour and even have a boat trip if you wish.
Benidorm is a tourist place and I believe there is a children's water park close by - but this would be a day trip.
There are other places of interest, which are only 20 minutes drive away such as Guardamar etc., but you might just want to have a lazy time and stay around the pool or in the gardens.

Sorry - no smoking in the apartment and no pets.
