This large villa overlooks the sea with spectacular panoramic sea views, 1km from the colourful coastal town of Almunecar and just minutes from the picture perfect beach of Tesorillo. This is an extremely spacious and impressive traditional style Spanish property, recently modernized, with a large pool and extensive gardens. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, the house retains its privacy whilst being close to the beaches and shops. It has 5 bedrooms in the main house and a further 2 bedrooms in the downstairs self contained apartment. Sunny terraces at both lower garden, ground and first floor levels make the most of the uninterrupted sea views and are perfect for sunning and dining. This house is ideal for a larger family or group, but is equally suitable for smaller parties who want more space-it was until recently a well loved family home for four.

Notes on accommodation
Gas central heating and huge open fireplace in the lounge for lovely log fires. The house has some stairs but is generally child friendly. Please note that the pool is not gated, but is situated well for easy monitoring from terrace or poolside.

Accessibility

Outside terraces at all levels. Kitchen leads out to terrace with teak circular table and chairs. Sun loungers provided
Private fresh water swimming pool is 10m x 5m.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach, Tesorillo, has been used as a film setting due to its beauty and is only 15 mins walk downhill and approx 3 mins by car. Equidistant is El Pozuelo, a favourite for families because of its sand and shallow waters. You can drive to the centre of Almunecar in a matter of minutes. Almuñecar has many other beaches all within a short distance. 15 minutes in the car takes you to some stunning National Park beaches. The popular 'AquaTropic' water park is 5 mins drive away.
Golf
Motril is 15 mins drive away and boasts a 18 hole golf course. There are several other good courses within a 45 mins drive.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is just around 1 hour away from the house. Europe’s most southerly resort, it boasts first class facilities with 40 miles of ski runs. Great ski schools with English speaking teachers. Easily do-able in a day.
Travel
The house is 50 minutes drive from both Malaga and Granada airports.
Distances
We are 10 mins drive from the coastal villages of Salobrena and La Heradurra. The Alhambra and the stunning city of Granada are just 50 mins away. The unspoilt mountain range of The Alpujarras and its whitewashed villages are a lovely day drive, 1¼ hour take a picnic. Malaga with its Picasso Museum is 50 mins away.
Further details
Almunecar has a huge range of restaurants and bars, as well as some great shopping. The daily market is one of the best around, known for its quality fresh produce. The Friday Flea market provides a chance to buy clothes and traditional wear, including leather and ceramics.

To secure a booking we require a 30% deposit. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Also payable at this stage we is a security deposit refundable on your return to cover damages/breakages of £300.
