The house is bordered by beautiful gardens which includes a delightful large swimming pool. Excellent position for walking to Islantilla attractions, hotels and excellent fish restaurants. Other nearby facilities include the famous Donana National Park, a Water Theme Park; the scenic Guadiana river where you can take a boat up to Alcoutin; drive to the Aracena Mt. range and see the real Spain; visit the pretty border town of Ayamonte; visit the Columbus Museum at Huelva;walk/jog/cycle along wonderful beaches and sand dunes including an extensive promenade to walk along at night when watching the stunning sunsets. All this and Portugal too on your doorstep!(Tavira is only 40 mins away.)Other day trips: One hour to Seville; Cordoba, Jerez and Cadiz are also drivable. Even a trip to N. Africa can be arranged.

Utility Room: Outside kitchen-open area with Gas central heating boiler. Washing machine. Tiled floor for easy storage items

Accessibility
Flat entrance into house. Stairs to bedrooms.

Outside
Patio, plus small lawn to rear ,overlooking 16th green. Relaxer chairs plus normal patio chairs and table for six to eight people. Awning across rear. small BBQ. The large shared swimming pool is solely for the 20 odd properties within the gardens to the front.

Coast/Beach
Ten minute walk to lovely expansive sandy beaches. Dunes,pine fringed ones nearby- four mins by car. Dotto train usually available from the golf club to take people to the shops and beach, life guarded in summer.

Golf
The clubhouse of the 27 hole championship golf course is a five minute stroll away. There are nine other 18 hole courses within a 30 minutes drive, including Portuguese ones. Special green fee rates are available. Tee times can be arranged.

Travel
55 mins by direct motorway to Faro airport. Car hire is recommended although not essential. Transport from Faro to Islantilla can be arranged at an additional cost. Local car rental firm in Islantilla is Crowne.

Distances
Seville is one hour by motorway. La Donana National Park 45 minutes. Huelva city (Columbus) 30 mins. Water park 30 mins Pretty border town of Ayamonte 15 mins. Beautiful Guadiana River 15 mins.Local village 5 mins by car or 15 mins walk. Lepe town 10 mins by car (for banks, cash machines are in Islantilla).

Further details
Local shopping centre and supermarket is under five mins walk. Islantilla seaside boutique shopping ten minutes walk-where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Ayamonte (15 mins by car) has interesting shopping and a mall. Boat trip up the River Guadiana is recommended, along with the ten min ferry to Villa Real in Portugal. This town sells incredible linen wear at bargain prices .Numerous local festivals in Lepe and Isla Christina. Seville is a must, especially the cathedral, the Alcazar and the Barrio. The Columbus museum near Huelva is very good. La Donana is the biggest national Park in Spain but entry needs to be pre booked. The Arecena mountain range is picturesque with great walking. ( hour and a half by car). West or East of Islantilla the beaches are superb. All five major hotels welcome non residents.
