St Carles de la Rapita has much to offer, exclusive shops, wonderful beaches and surrounding countryside, top quality restaurants and welcoming bars and cafes! Safe bathing and clean beaches, only 2 hours from Barcelona to the north, Valencia to the south, mountains behind and the Delta d'el Ebre stretching out into the Mediterranean Sea. Horse-riding, cycling, fishing, walking, golf, windsurfing or simply chilling out on one of the many blue flag golden beaches,there's something for everyone here! The Delta is a nature reserve, home to 300 species of birds including pink flamingos in the winter. The town is suitable for families with young children, the beaches are very clean and safe and the Delta creates a bay so the water is very calm and shallow, there are many childrens play areas located around the town and at the beaches. Our apartment is managed by an English family, now living in Sant Carles de la Rapita who will be on hand to meet you on your arrival.

Notes on prices
Discount available for long winter lets, please ask. Prices include for electricity, water etc.
The apartment is available from 3pm on the day of arrival and we ask that it is vacated at 10am on the day of departure.
On arrival, we request a deposit of 150 euro against breakages, this will be refunded on departure following an inspection.
Changeover day
Saturday/Sunday is our preferred changeover day although we can be flexible, please ask.

All bedding (duvets), towels and T-towels are provided. Please bring own swimming/beach towels. Linen changed weekly. No maid service. |
Accessibility
The apartment is located on the 4th floor, there are 2 lifts and the building is very modern, the building has been designed to EEC standards and is wheelchair accessible throughout.
Coast/Beach
The town square is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, the beach is a further 10 minutes from the square.
Golf
The newly opened Nova Panoramica golf course is a 30 minute drive away.
Travel
Reus airport is a 60 minute drive, Barcelona airport is a 2 hour drive, Valencia Airport is a 2 hour drive. Car hire is recommended, car hire in Spain is quite cheap, I am renting a 5 door family car in July 08 from Barcelona Airport through easycar for £17 per day. The roads are all very modern and driving is very easy.
Distances
The nearby town of Vinaros is 20 minutes by car and is worth a visit, also, the very busy seaside town of Peniscola is 35 minutes by car and is very interesting (Peniscola castle was the film location for El Cid). Inland the beautiful ancient walled city of Morella is a good day out (approx 35 minutes by car) as is San Mateu. Port Adventura/Universal Studios can be reached by Car or Train within 1 hour. The Delta is 20 minutes drive away and offers 8km of quiet sandy beach.
Booking notes
A deposit of 15% is required to confirm booking, the remaining amount payable upon arrival. Welcome packs available on request (water, bread, cheese, ham etc. whatever you require).
Our management company also offer a "beach towel hire" service for 7 euro per towel per week. With the budget airlines now imposing weight restrictions on luggage allowance this would benefit some travellers, please mention when booking if you are interested.
