Villa number 1 is located at La Merced, near El Campello and between the historic towns of Alicante and Benidorm. It is a one off architect designed spacious and luxurious villa set within its own private grounds with garden areas and numerous terrace and patio areas. There is also a large private swimming pool. The area is very peaceful and has shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The large towns of El Campello or Villajoyosa are within a five minute drive, both have beautiful renowned beaches and numerous bars restaurants and nightlife. Within a 15 minute drive is the historic city of Alicante or the sprawling Metropolis of Benidorm. A car is recommended to fully benefit the many local attractions but is not essential as there is a small railway station and a bus stop close to the villa, there are also local private drivers and taxis.

Changeover day
During peak season changeover day is Saturday. This is flexible outside of peak season. Arrival time is 4pm departure time is 10.30 am however this is negotiable depending on arrival and departure times of other guests.

Outside
The villa is situated within private walled grounds with lockable remote entry gate access. Mature gardens surround the villa and include lime, olive and palm trees. There are five seperate terrace/patio areas including a BBQ area and private terrace to first floor bedroom. There is a large private swimming pool with underwater lighting and built in steps.
Coast/Beach
The villa is very close to the sea, approx 150 metres. There is also a nice secluded beach with bar/restaurant within a 3 minute walk. There are expansive golden sand beaches at El Campello, San Juan and Villajoyosa which are a five minute drive or bus ride. Benidorm beaches are a 15 minute drive.
Golf
Bonalba Golf Course has 18 holes, a par of 72 and total length of 6,367 meters (approx 7000 yards). The course has sea views and a perfect climate to enjoy a game at any time of the year. The golf course is located in Busot, around 15 mins drive, it has a fantastic water park with spas and jacuzzis set within caves and luxurious sun bathing areas with bars, restaurants and clubhouse. Ideal for keeping non golfers occupied.
Travel
Alicante airport is 25 minute drive. Murcia airport is 1 hour drive. Valencia is 2 hour drive.
Car hire is available at all of these airports. The use of a car is recommended but not essential. There is a bus stop just outside the villa and a railway station within a 5 minute walk. I can also recommend local private taxi drivers for the use of our guests.

There are five bars/restaurants and two supermarkets within walking distance of the Villa and an abundance of each within a five minute drive. There are many activities a short drive away including, water parks, safari parks, Seaworld, Terramittica an acclaimed adventure theme park, Guadalest the ancient monks village set in the hills, the waterfalls at Algar, caves at Canelobre, water sports, beautiful beaches, outstanding golf courses etc etc. Please see website for more details.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required to confirm booking. Balance to be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to holiday. A security bond of £300 is required and should be paid no later than 1 week prior to holiday. This will be returned upon satisfactory confirmation from agents.
