Casa Susan is a family owner private villa on the peaceful urbanisation of Las Tres Calas. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. The swimming pool is to the rear of the property, is completely private and has a great sunbathing terrace all around. There is a barbecue with spacious dining area. The garden is full of beautiful trees and plants and has a grass area there is also a private driveway for off road parking. There are 2 restaurants, a couple of bars, supermarket and a children's playground all within a 10 minute walk from the villa. There is a bus that runs regularly close to the villa which goes from the urbanisation and takes you to the beautiful fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday during July and August but we can be flexible on out of season dates. The villa will be available from 4pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure, please contact us with any other requests.

With the private garden there is plenty of room for children to play safely. Although care must always be taken with children around a swimming pool.

Accessibility
The villa is 2 storeys and may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The gardens are beautiful and full of established Mediterranean plants and flowers. There is an 7 x 3m private pool, outdoor shower and a large sunbathing patio with sun loungers to the rear of the villa ensuring privacy for guests. There is a further patio area with a brick built BBQ offering great outdoor summer dining. There is also a garage and off-road parking.
Coast/Beach
The urbanisation has 3 blue flag beaches (2 of which have food facilities) and they are all within a 5 minute car journey. There are also more than 10 bays to be found within a 2km coast line and one can walk the stunning coastal path taking in the sea air and breathtaking views. There is also a pretty promenade in the village of L'Ametlla de Mar.
Golf
Bon Mont golf course is a 40 minute drive from the villa.
Special interest holidays
Famous Universal Studios Theme Park of Port Aventura and Caribe Aquatic Park are 35 minutes by car. Natural Park of the Delta Ebro, 25 minutes, excellent for animal lovers and bird watching. River Ebro, famous for some of the largest catfish in Europe. Historic Knight Templar's castle of Miravet.
Vibrant cosmopolitan city of Barcelona 1 hour 30 mins, and Valencia 1 hour 30 mins.
Travel
The nearest airport is Reus (40 minute drive) a number of charter airlines from many UK cities along with Ryanair provide daily flights. Barcelona airport (1 Hour 30 mins drive) has flights operated by British Airways, Easy Jet, Monarch and Iberia. The nearest railway station is at L’Ametlla de Mar (direct line to Barcelona).
A car is essential to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
Distances
Beautiful fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar is a 5 minute car journey on the main road or can be reached by a country road for those adventurous cyclists or walkers!
Other coastal villages which are within 25 minutes maximum and well worth visiting include Hospitalet de l'infant, Cambrils and L'Ampolla. The historic Roman city of Tarragona is a 40 minute car journey and the charming city of Reus is 35 minutes from L'Ametlla de Mar.
Further details
The villa is walking distance to a couple of bars, 2 restaurants and a supermarket. There is also a children's playground which also has a bar selling ice creams and drinks. A popular restaurant on the south side of the urbanisation is 5 minute drive away. A bus stop travelling to and from the village of L'Ametlla de Mar also stops close to the villa.
L'Amettla de Mar is a traditional picturesque fishing village. There are an array of shops, supermarkets, cafe bars, tapas bars and restaurants. L'Amettla de Mar boasts some of the finest sea-food restaurants serving high quality Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied by wonderful locally produced wines.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is payable to reserve the villa and the remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. On arrival a further security deposit of 250 euros (or £200) cash will be required. This amount will be returned when the property is vacated in good condition at the end of the rental. Late bookings are considered.
