Our beautifully kept, clean and tidy townhouse has 3 bedrooms, but can be rented as a two bedroom house, (see prices below) has air conditioning/heating, (which is a must in the summer months) Sky TV with ITV, BBC, Sky Sport, Movies, etc, private south facing garden, garage etc is situated in the urbanization of Altamira. On the urbanization we have two swimming pools and a tennis court. Our nearest sandy beach/cove is La Fustera which takes about 15 mins if you walk. Down at the beach there is a children's play area, first aid station, beach bar and plenty of parking spaces. There are bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket within easy distance of the Beach. Calpe, which is approx 5 mins by car, has 2 beautiful sandy beaches, with water sports and lots going on in the summer and also has shops, bars and restaurants all along the seafront. Our house is very well furnished, has all mod cons, and maintained to the highest of standards. We do also use it for our own holidays.

Notes on prices
Please note, the prices quoted are for the property for the 2 bedroomed option, for the 3 bedroom option please add £50 per week to the above prices, prices are quoted in UK pounds. If for any reason there is damage done to the property or contents in excess of the £100 deposit, the renter will be held responsible. Bookings are now being taken for 2012, prices for summer 2012 are the same as they were in 2009.
Changeover day
Changeover days are now flexible, we will try and accommodate any request, as we do realise mid week flights can be cheaper. Arrival 1pm approx, departure 10am unless otherwise agreed with the owners.

| Bathrooms: | Bathroom has full sized bath with shower over the bath, WC, bidet, 2 hairdryers and vanity unit (upstairs). The downstairs shower room is fitted with shower, WC and small wash hand basin. |
| Kitchen: | Full size cooker, (gas and electric) large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, orange juicer, wok, fire extinguisher, etc. UK adaptors can be found in the bottom drawer, please return them to same place when leaving. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine is in the kitchen, drying lines in back garden are discretely stored in small white box on the wall, and we also have the same drying lines in the garage just in case of the odd shower. We also supply iron, ironing board and clothes horse. |
| Living Rooms: | Good sized, light and airy, living and dining area with 2 sofas, extending dining table/6 chairs, Colour TV/Sky, with ITV, BBC, sport, films etc. CD and DVD players and a small selection of CDs, books, childrens games and an extensive selection of DVDs. |
| Other: | Our Sky package has a good selection of channels, including BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 and 5, Sky Sports, Sky movies, Discovery, History, Living, UK Gold, Eurosport, Nickelodeon, VH1 and many of the free channels. |

All bedlinen and towels are provided free of charge and freshly laundered once a week. One pool/beach towel per person is now being provided for the duration of the holiday at no extra charge. All bedrooms have ample coathangers. |

Notes on accommodation
There is air conditioning/heating upstairs and downstairs. We have also fitted ceiling fans. Your comfort is our main priority. This is strictly a non smoking house. Pets are not allowed. There is a baby gate fitted at the top of the stairs for your safety, and a safe is fitted for your security. If we don't have anyone going into the house the day you leave, there is no hurry for you to vacate the house at 10am. We will let you know this before your leave for your holiday. Our house is kept to the highest standard, as we also use it for our own holidays. Our guest book is full of very positive and complimentary comments, copied from our guest book, they can be read on our own website which can be found at the bottom of this advert. Great care has always been taken with our holiday home, and we do hope you appreciated our efforts.
Outside
The living/dining area has two sets of patio doors which lead out to a very private, south facing back garden/sun terrace. We have provided lots of patio furniture for you comfort in 'Outdoor Living'. Some of this is stored in the garage.

We also have a selection of "Beach Gear" stored in the garage, brollies, lilos, knee board, chairs, bucket & spade etc that can all be used.
We now have a cane suite sitting in the "Niya" at the back of the house, a comfortable area to sit with your bottle of wine after a busy day. This is in addition to the outdoor furniture we already have.
Coast/Beach
A few minutes drive you will find yourself at the beach of La Fustera, or if you wish to walk it would probably take approx 15-20 mins. There are two beautiful sandy beaches at Calpe, with bars and cafes right along the front, which would take about 5 or 10 mins in the car.
Golf
There are 4 golf courses within easy reach of the house, there are 3 nine hole, and 1 eighteen hole. Proof of handicap is required with some of the courses. We have full details of these courses in the visitors book.
Travel
Approx 1 hours drive from Alicante Airport will get you to Altamira. Car hire is recommended. There is a garage next to the house that can be used. We have a written sheet of directions for your convenience. You will need a few euros for the tolls.
Distances
Calpe town is 3km from the house, there are many other places to visit within 15-30 drive. Some of the other towns along the coast are worth a visit, namely Denia where you can pick up the ferry to the Balearics. There is Altea, Javea, Moriara, Benidorm and many others. If you head inland you will come across the Jalon Valley, or if you travel a little further there is Guadalest.
Further details
Calpe is quite a traditional Spanish town with its main street, "Gabriel Miro" having a wide variety of shops, banks, cafes and bars, and in the town centre itself you are spoilt for the many lovely restaurants of all nationalities. It has a very quaint old town with cobbled streets and well worth a visit, especially in the summer evenings where there is an outdoor market on most nights.
If its shopping you want Benidorm seems to be the place to go. At Benidorm you will find the theme park Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, the Marine and Exotic Animal Park Mundomar and the Aqualandia water park.
Guadalest, which is the second most visited village in Spain is a must, with its cafes, bars, shops, museums and scenery. If its markets you enjoy, there is a market on every day of the week in the area.
Booking notes
£100 will be required to secure your booking which will be fully refundable when the house has been checked on your departure. The rental fee should be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. We have now started to take bookings for 2012. Prices for summer 2012 are the same as they were in 2009.

About the owner
Hi. We are James and Linda Mowatt, we live in the NE of Scotland in a village by the sea. We have owned our house in La Fustera, Calpe since Aug 2003. We love the area and think we have a good base to explore the North Costa Blanca. There are so many places to see within a 30 min drive. We use the house ourselves on a regular basis and we like it to be nice, hence the reason the regular maintenance of the property. Our aim is to give our clients the best possible holiday accommodation and their comfort is paramount to us, we are always trying to improve our holiday home and the fact we get repeat bookings probably says it all. We update our photographs on a regular basis, just to let everyone see what the house "really" looks like.
