The second floor apartment has a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool with views over the countryside to Mojacar and the sea. Notes on accommodation
The duplex is not suitable for infants due to the open staircase. Weekly clean and linen service. Towels (not beach) and bed linen provided. Cot or high chair can be provided on request, as can 'starter packs'. Management is on site at Valle del Este.
Accessibility
The duplex, with ground floor entry, is accessible for the disabled. The apartment does not have an elevator or easy wheel chair access
Outside
Each apartment has a large external patio, with patio table and four chairs and two loungers, leading to a full sized shared pool, all set in landscaped and well maintained gardens. Portable barbecues may be used
Coast/Beach
A range of excellent beaches are within short driving distance from Valle del Este.
Golf
The Valle Del Este golf complex is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. It has a desert style design with challenging and individually memorable holes. There is a comprehensive driving range, short game area and putting green. The pro shop is fully equipped with everything that a golfer may require. There are also other golf courses nearby - Marina Golf in Mojacar, Macenas and Cortijo Grande in Turre, plus the well known development at Desert Springs - all within 15 to 45 minutes drive. La Envia and El Alboran courses are south west of Vera, adjacent to Almeria and between 45 and 60 minutes away Note: Guests will be able to take advantage of discounted green fees at all the above courses. Travel
Almeria Airport is 45/50 minutes drive south west on the E15 Motorway. Murcia, a little over 60 minutes. Alicante, approximately 1.5 hours away. All three airports are served by low cost carriers e.g EasyJet, Ryanair and Monarch as well as conventional airlines. Car hire, though not absolutely essential, is recommended in order to access the many interesting features of the area.
Distances
On the coast, Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar are 10/15 minutes drive by car. Further south, Carboneras, Agua Amarga and the beautiful Cabo de Gata Natural Park are easily reached. Inland there are a wealth of interesting places. The lunar landscape of Tabernas and 'Mini Hollywood', Níjar for gift shopping. The towns Sorbas, with 'hanging houses' and Vélez Blanco and Vélez Rubio, the site of the original 'Indalo Man'. Granada is also near enough to recommend a visit. A beautiful and fascinating city.
Further details
Guests may use the hotel with swimming pool, spa, beauty and fitness centre and the Valle del Este Beach Club at Vera Playa, 10 minutes away by courtesy bus. The beach club has restaurants, bars, pool and a range of water sports. The on-site commercial centre has a bank, shops, a supermarket, bars, including a tapas bar, and restaurants. In addition, there are extensive facilities at Vera and Garrucha and the Parque Comercial in Mojacar is just 10 minutes drive away. Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind surfing, nature trailing. The skiing areas of the Sierra Nevada are accessible by motorway (2 hours).
Booking notes
Payment is accepted in UK Pounds sterling or euros. A deposit of 25% (by cheque) is required on making a booking to secure the reservation. The balance is to be paid at least 8 weeks before the arrival date. In respect of damages, a returnable deposit of £150 must be paid by the hirer on a separate cheque at the time of settling the final balance. Payment for any damages, breakages or missing inventory items, eg loss of key etc, will be deducted from the damages deposit.

‘We had an absolutely wonderful time at Valle del Este and your apartment must be one of the best placed on the Resort. It was perfect for a relaxing peaceful family holiday, my teenage sons were able to enjoy the pools, gym and paddle tennis. The restaurants at the Commercial Centre were excellent. It has given my husband a renewed interest in golf and so we will be contacting you again for a return visit’.
