You couldn't be nearer to the breathtaking mountain town of Ronda, yet still in the countryside. This lovely village house - which has many of its original features, such as metre thick stone walls, pantile roof and ancient well - is just 5 minutes from Ronda, and a delightful walk into the nearby mountains. Renovated to the highest standards, it has terracotta floors, bespoke wooden kitchen units and historic decorative wall tiles. The garden has been well landscaped and has 2 ancient olive trees and a productive fig tree, while a vine clambers up onto the roof terrace above. There is a splash pool in one corner. While quiet, Arriate is anything, but sleepy, with an abundance of good shops and a couple of excellent restaurants. Very 'Andaluz' in feel, locals are friendly and have some of the region's most popular festivals, particularly at Easter. Best of all, the bigger village pool is only a minute's stroll and in a beautifully shady spot perfect for cooling off in the hot summer.

Changeover day
We prefer to do Friday to Friday but we are flexible, within reason and do four nights minimum stay, or three nights with a small premium.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, en-suite and access to garden. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with single bed and futon. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite master bathroom has a bath, a sink and a wc. Bathroom 2 has a large shower and and a sink and wc. |
| Kitchen: | The fully-equipped kitchen is open-plan and has a fridge/freezer, a washing machine an oven and hobs, plus a microwave, a juicer and a full range of cutlery, pots and pans and wine glasses. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room is well stocked with books, a CD player and also has a fabulous log-burning stove for those cold nights in winter. The main sofa is a double sofabed. |

The house is professionally cleaned after each rental. If the stay is more than a week then the house would be cleaned and bed linen changed during the stay. Bed linen and towels are supplied. |

Notes on accommodation
The house is perfectly suitable for children of all ages and cots/high chairs can be supplied on request.
Accessibility
The house has not been adapted for wheelchair users, there is one tight staircase but general access is good. There is always space to park your car on the street.
Outside
You enter the house via a tiled patio with benches and flowers. At the back of the house the garden is private, shady and very pretty with mature plants and trees. From the garden there are stairs directly up to the terrace which connects to the upstairs of the house and works as an extension to the living/dining room. Outdoor patio furniture and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of the Costa del Sol are a short 45 min trip down the mountain. For something a little different the pristine Atlantic beaches including the famous town of Tarifa are 1½ hours away.
Golf
45 mins from the Costa del Sol and an abundance of golf courses.
Special interest holidays
Almost all outdoor activities can be arranged if given enough warning. The area is particularly well known for bird watching and we can arrange private tours with a highly regarded expert. There is also extremely good walking, guided tours and or routs can be arranged along with horse riding and mountain biking.

Airports: Malaga 100km / 1½ hours. Jerez 115km / 1¾ hours
Sevilla 127km 1¾ hours.
Distances
Ronda 5km. All the villages of the Serrania de Ronda are within easy reach.
