One bedroom ground floor apartment of main house. property has open plan lounge/dining area and kitchen with access via courtyard up steps to the main pool deck. Property has lots of land including fruit orchard, vegetable garden and small animals including chickens and rabbits, ideal for families. It is a short walk into the town of Guadix which has a gorgeous 18th century cathedral and main square with lots of traditional Spanish tapas bars and lots of character.

Bathrooms: Bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen for self catering includes gas cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, George Forman. Access to washing machine if needed.
Living Rooms: Large open plan living accommodation, comfortably furnished with 3 seater sofa/sofa bed, TV, CD player, dining table and chairs (seats 6) closed fire with 2 rocking chairs.
Other: Courtyard with table and chairs, steps lead up to pool which has sun loungers and barbecue area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bedlinen and indoor towels provided (changed for 2nd week). Please bring own pool towels for use outside. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival but a mid-stay clean can be arranged (payable locally).

Not suitable for people with mobility problems due to location outside of town and steps.

Property has lots of land, including parking area, orchard, vegetable patch, animal area. Pool area is raised with fabulous views and deck around has sun loungers and table and chairs and a barbecue area.

Nearest beaches 60 mins drive - Costa Almeria, numerous beaches.

Medina Elvira Golf Course, Granada is 30 mins drive.
Santa Clara Golf course, Granada is 50 mins drive.
New course opening 2009, 10 mins drive.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada resorts 1 hour 30 drive. Cross country skiing and sledging available 20 mins drive November - March depending on snow.

Travel
Granada airport 40 mins drive. Almeria airport 60 mins drive. Malaga airport 2 hrs drive.
Car is recommended, or airport pick-up can be arranged if needed.

Distances
The town of Guadix is very Spanish and has lots of history with an 18th century cathedral and the largest cave dwellings in Spain. The surrounding areas are very popular with walkers and mountain bikers. The city of Granada is just a 40 minute drive with the beautiful Palace of the Alhambra, a must see.

Further details
Guadix has many supermarkets, the closest is the large Mercadona 2 mins drive. And there is a large market in the town every Saturday.

Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking. Balance is paid 8 weeks before arrival date. A refundable key/damage deposit is required of 100 euros on arrival. This is refunded promptly upon departure/key return.
