Modernised 1 bedroom apartment on 2nd floor, with air conditioning/heating unit in lounge giving a comfortable holiday in summer or winter. Situated right on the sea front in a quiet area of Poniente Beach, with the caretaker living on premises for additional security. Private car park under apartment block. Many amenities close by, including supermarket, bakers, chemist, restaurants and bars. The apartment overlooks the beach from 2 balconies, one from the bedroom and one from the lounge. The bus runs along the beach into the "old town" every few minutes in the summer, and very regularly in winter. Ideally situated to visit 'Terra Mitica', Benidorm's large theme park, and La Marina with its designer shops and theme pubs. English taxi and welcome pack can be arranged. Long winter lets of 3 weeks or more are available at a special low rental. The apartment block is only 4 storeys high with about 10 apartments on each level.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Winter rentals (October to Easter) of 3 weeks or more will be charged £90 per week. This does not include the supply of bedlinen or towels, which can be provided for a supplement, and a further one-off charge of £30 will be made for the apartment to be cleaned after the holiday.
Changeover day
During peak season, Saturday is changeover day but we are flexible during other times. Arrival and departure times are arranged to fit with clients before and after, and to allow for the apartment to be cleaned.
| Bedrooms: | The bedroom has twin beds, a large built-in wardrobe and balcony overlooking the beach. Electric fan provided for the summer and heater provided for the winter. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with enclosed shower over the bath, washbasin and mirror, toilet and bidet. The washing machine is situated here. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped, with cooking utensils, china and cutlery for up to 4 people. Cooking is by 4 electric plates and oven. Kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board provided. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has an air-conditioning/heating unit, double bed-settee, 2 armchairs, TV with digi-box (showing some English-spoken programmes), DVD player, and built-in storage/wardrobe. Sliding patio doors lead to balcony overlooking beach. |
| Other: | Lounge balcony has patio table and 4 chairs, and roller-shutter blinds and canopy to keep out the heat. It is lovely to sit here and overlook the beach. Leading from kitchen is breakfast-bar area with family-sized fridge/freezer and microwave. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and towels are provided, although beach towels should be provided by the client. Linen and towels can be changed during the holiday, at an extra charge. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned before and after each let. |
Accessibility
The apartment is accessed by 4 flights of approx. 9 steps, with no lift, so is unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
Private car parking area on ground level beneath and around the apartment block, accessed through a locked gate with remote opening mechanism. Outdoors showers are provided for rinsing off sand and sea. The beach is reached by literally just walking across the road! On the beach there is a climbing-frame for the children, a volleyball net, and palm-trees for shade.
Coast/Beach
The beach is literally over the road. The sea is shallow just outside the apartment, making it ideal for children, with a lovely sandy beach. Palm trees planted in the sand make a shady area when the sun is hot. There is a climbing frame and volley-ball net close by.
Golf
New golf course approx. 1 mile away at Terra Mitica, Benidorm's theme park.
Travel
The nearest airport is Alicante, approximately 40 minutes drive away along the motorway. Taxis are readily available there, in 2007 the charge was approx. £35 each way. There are many car hire companies both at the airport and in Benidorm, if you feel like sight-seeing. We can arrange an English taxi from the airport if needed.
Distances
Benidorm "old town" is about 5 mins. away by bus (approx. 50p per person), or a 30 minute gentle stroll along the front.
Further details
There is a row of shops behind the apartment block, with a bar, tobacco and drink shop, chemist and supermarket. The chemists in Spain are more highly qualified than in Britain, and can advise you should you have health problems, saving a trip to the Doctor. There are cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance, with many different cuisines. Benidorm itself is only a short bus ride away, and is a wonderful shopping area, ranging from 'cheap and cheerful' for the kids, to designer shops. There is also a market twice a week. La Marina, close to the apartment, also has designer shops, a cinema showing some English films, bowling alley, and theme pubs on the roof terrace! There is live music here during the summer months. There is also an enormous Carrefour situated next to it, all only a few minutes drive/bus ride from our apartment. There is lots to do - apart from the huge Terra Mitica theme park close to the apartment, there is Aqualandia (a water park for those hot summer days) and Mundomar next to it, with exotic birds and plants. For a really special night, try 'Benidorm Palace', a truly exotic show, where you can also dine if you want to. For more sightseeing hire a car, or book a coach trip, to Guadalest and the Fonts d'Algar. The scenery is breathtaking, and Guadalest itself is an old monastery/castle set in narrow streets. At the Fonts you can bathe in clear pools and waterfalls.

£50 deposit per holiday week required at time of booking, with the balance being due 3 months before the holiday. Please enquire about the special rates for long winter lets.
