The house is in a rural setting surrounded by olive trees in the beautiful Val de la Cervera valley on the edge of the mountainous Els Ports Natural Park & has uninterrupted & stunning mountain views. The small village of Els Reguers is only 3 minutes drive away where you will find surprisingly good restaurants and bars. Its village shops provide local produce & will cover any day to day needs. Supermarkets are another 10 minutes away located in the towns of Roquetes & medieval Tortosa (situated on the banks of the mighty River Ebro). Present day Tortosa has numerous interesting shops as well as a vibrant covered market. It also prides itself in celebrating special fiestas full of folklore & old traditions. Celebrity chef Rick Stein has also visited Tortosa to sample its Catalan culinary delights. The house is also well placed to enable you to leave your car behind & explore the local area on foot & is within a short drive of many of the Els Ports Natural Park trails.

Notes on prices
The above prices have now been discounted to fill our remaining available weeks during September & October and are per week and are in euros. Minimum booking is for 7 nights - gas, electricity & linen included. The daily rate for bookings of over 7 nights will be based on a division of the above weekly rates.
First season offer: If you book 14 nights then you will only have to pay for 12.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible. When bookings are back to back, arrival time will be 3pm and departure time 11am.

The remaining 2 bedrooms both have twin beds.
Bathrooms: En-suite wet room with shower, toilet & wash basin linked to master bedroom.
Also separate wet room with shower, toilet & wash basin for use of remaining 2 bedrooms. Also electric towel rails.
Kitchen: Fitted electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board.
Living Rooms: Large lounge/diner includes extendable dining table & chairs, comfortable sofa, wood burning stove for winter's cooler nights, radio/cd/mp3 player, DVD player & TV monitor with good selection of DVDs.

The property is fully managed & clean linen is provided for each new occupancy (towels are not included). There is a change of linen for stays of more than 1 week.

No smoking inside property, sorry no pets allowed, no singles groups. It's essential to have a car.

Outside
The outside of the house consists of a large sun-bathing terrace with 8m x 4m private swimming pool (with safe access control for small children). The pool depth ranges from 1.3m to 1.7m with easy entry via a semi-circle of steps. There is a smaller BBQ terrace as well as garden & pool terrace furniture and an outside shower.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are within 30 minutes drive. Costa Dorada beaches are renowned for their fine golden sand. The two nearest blue flag resorts are located either side of the Ebro Delta. On its northern side is L'Ampolla, with rocky coves, ideal for snorkelling, & plentiful fish restaurants. On the southern side is Sant Carles de la Rapita with family beaches, renowned restaurants, pleasant shops & its busy fishing fleet. The Ebro Delta itself also hosts 15 miles of unspoilt sandy beaches.

Special interest holidays
Guided walking holidays in the mountains of the Els Ports Natural Park & guided birdwatching holidays using both the Ebro Delta & Els Ports Natural parks can be arranged.

Travel
Reus Airport is only 1 hour drive away with Barcelona & Valencia Airports only 2 hours drive away. Girona (Costa Brava) is 2 & 1/2 hours drive away. Car hire is essential & available direct from all airports.

Distances
Barcelona is only 2 hours car/train journey away & can be enjoyed on a day's visit. This cosmopolitan city has fine shopping districts and street markets. It has an impressive Gothic cathedral located in the medieval quarter, and of course Gaudi's famous Sagrada Familia. The Roman city of Tarragona - located within 1 hours drive/train journey overlooks the Med Sea & has pleasant shopping areas & outdoor cafes.
Universal Studio's Portaventura Theme & Water Park are only 1 hours drive away.

Further details
Horseriding, river trips, fishing, mountain biking are all available locally. The area is also ideal for photography & painting enthusiasts.
