La Casa de la Fuente is a Grand 80 year old Town House on three floors, just away from the centre of the lively village of Algaidas, which in itself is only 20 minutes drive from Antequera and less than an hour from Malaga and Granada Airports. It has five luxury bedrooms all with their own individually designed spacious bathrooms, ceiling fans and central heating for the cooler months. At its heart it has an Andalucian patio with a fountain and the swimming pool. You can breakfast outside under the shade of the grapevine and in the evening you can dine under the stars beside the lit swimming pool. There is a comfortable lounge with Sky TV and DVD player, (with a wide selection of DVDs). The fully fitted kitchen has all the luxury you could want, a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, ironing board & iron, along with all the utensils that accommodation of this size would expect. There is also a bar with tall stools, music and a fridge for your cold drinks and ice.

| Bathrooms: | Of the 5 en-suite bathrooms, two have Jacuzzi baths, all have walk in Moroccan showers, toilets, double basins & bidets. All have hairdryers and alarm clocks. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen is complete with large 5 ring range gas cooker, with a large wok ring, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, ample crockery, cutlery & glasses. Available also is a food processor, juicer etc |
| Living Rooms: | The large comfortable lounge has two large sofas. There is a Television, Sky box & DVD/CD player. We have a vast range of films on DVD should you want a night in ? Wifi available. |
| Other: | There is a very large dining room with a breakfast bar, tables and chairs. High chair. The large entrance hall also has a 3 mtr long dining table, for those dinner party´s. Bar complete with fridge, stools, wood burning stove, seating areas and bar unit. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All bedlinen, bathroom towels, pool towels and kitchen towels are supplied and changed weekly. Initial food pack is supplied consisting of tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread, butter & fruit. We can do a shop for you if you are planning on arriving late. |

Notes on accommodation
As stated above the property can accommodate 11 people over 5 bedrooms, however, we do have two put u up beds and 2 travel cots. These would have to be put in parents/adults bedrooms. Making the total capacity up to 15 persons maximum.
Accessibility
There is one bedroom on the ground floor which is suitable for wheelchair access, there is a step into the property but a ramp can be supplied. All the ground floor public rooms including the courtyard, are all on the same level.
Outside
The patio has a swimming pool, 5.00m x 3.50m x 1.50m deep with wide steps leading into the pool, ideal for children to play on under supervision. Pool towels are supplied and there are 4 sun loungers. Very private and not overlooked.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Malaga is the nearest and is 1 hour from Algaidas. Malaga has a lovely sandy beach with a gentle slope into the sea, also has plenty of beach bars to eat at.
Golf
The nearest golf course is the 18 hole golf course at Antequera, which is 20 minutes drive, the cost currently is 30 euros per person per round and 20 euros for a buggy. A buggy is suggested as it is quite steep in places. It is a very demanding course and is set high in the hills above Antequera. There is also a golf shop and clubhouse with spectacular views over the surrounding hills.
Skiing
The nearest skiing is the Sierra Nevada at Granada. Access is very good, mostly motorway and takes 1½ hours by car.
Special interest holidays
Bird watching or horse riding can be arranged locally.
Travel
Malaga Airport is 80km and 1 hour drive, Granada Airport is 70km and takes 45 minutes door to door and Seville Airport is 165km, all easy driving on Spanish roads.
Car hire is essential and can easily be arranged at the airport or online. We can recommend a few safe and reliable car hire companies based at either airports.
Distances
La Casa de la Fuente in Algaidas is situated very centrally in Andalucia, and is a perfect place to stay and visit all that Andalucia has to offer, like the Romantic Alhambra Palace in Granáda, (if wanting to visit the Alhambra it is advised to book online before leaving home) the Mósque in Córdoba is a must, Ronda with it´s oldest bullring in all of Spain, Málaga and the Picasso Museum, and of course not forgetting our local historical town of Antequera which has many of shops and restaurants.
Further details
The Village of Algaidas had a population of around 4,500 people, it is mostly a farming community of Olive growers as well as local industry. It has more than 20 tapas bars and 4 restaurants. There are 3 supermarkets, a fishmongers, several butchers, two chemists and a doctors surgery, two dentists, several banks with cash points and several other clothes shops and shoe shops. And all within walking distance. Nearby are a donkey sanctuary, a wolf park, a flamingo lake and the famous El Torcal National Park, The Subbética Natural Park with it´s whitewashed villages perched on the edge is only one hours drive on very easy roads.
