This is a modern apartment, furnished to a very high standard within a small and secure development. Well appointed with south facing balconies overlooking the hills and valleys of the Andalucian countryside. Well equipped with maps and guides for keen walkers. Close to all the shops, bars and restaurants in the heart of a beautiful and traditional Andalucian whitewashed village. Frigiliana is the most beautiful of all the Andalucian 'white' villages, full of charming cobbled streets of whitewashed houses, flower filled squares, alleyways and courtyards and mostly accessible only on foot. The narrow twisted streets are filled with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. It is ideal for beach lovers wanting to sample the beaches and nightlife of Nerja, also for walker's wanting to venture out from Frigiliana into the beautiful mountains of the 'Sierra de Tejeda and Almijara' Natural Parks.

Changeover day
We are flexible with changeover days to enable our guests to take advantage of cheaper midweek flights.

Notes on accommodation
A welcome pack is provided for your arrival, consisting of water, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee, wine and beer.
All rooms are equipped with overhead cooling fans and the lounge area is air conditioned and heated. Heaters are also provided for other rooms.
Within the apartment can be found numerous books, guides and walking maps to assist the adventurous.
Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the first floor and reached via 12 steps from street level where street parking is available. The pool and gardens are situated up another level.
Outside
Leading from the lounge is a south facing balcony with beautiful views and equipped with table and chairs for outside dining.
The development enjoys a large shared swimming pool with gardens which is situated in a quiet, secure and gated area, and which is for the sole use of our community and guests.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful resort of Nerja with its numerous beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car or the regular Frigiliana to Nerja bus. There are several walking routes from Frigiliana to Nerja, most notably the spectacular Rio Higueron walk following the river from Frigiliana to the coast which takes around 2 hours.
Golf
Baviera golf course is a 15 minute drive away near to the coast towards Torre del Mar.
Skiing
The ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada are a 1½ hour drive away and are usually open from late November to May.
Travel
Malaga airport is 45 minutes away by car and Granada airport is a little further, 1 hour 20 minutes. Car hire is recommended for people wanting to explore further afield but it is not necessary.
The local bus network is excellent and very cheap. Frigiliana is easily reached from Malaga airport. From Nerja buses run to all towns along the coast and further afield to Granada, Seville and Cordoba.
Distances
Nerja is 4 miles away as are the spectacular Nerja Caves. Other resorts along the coast are easily reached, Torrox is 10 mins away, Torre del Mar and Almunecar 25 mins, Marina del Este 20 mins and within an hour, numerous interesting and picturesque inland towns and villages can be reached such as Torrox Pueblo, Competa, Canillas de Albaida and Comares. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are 1 hour 20 mins away and the beautiful historical cities of Seville and Cordoba 2 hours.
Further details
Frigiliana is blessed with in excess of 25 bars and restaurants, numerous local grocery shops, souvenir shops and numerous shops selling clothing, leather, jewellery and locally made food and wines. There are three banks in the village and very close to the apartment is the sports centre with various activities and classes, a gymnasium and between June and September, a large outdoor swimming pool opens.
A weekly market is held in the centre of Frigiliana on Thursday’s. Several large supermarkets can be found in Nerja and a huge shopping complex 'El Ingenio' is located next to the motorway exit to Torre del Mar, 20 minutes away.
Next to 'El Ingenio' can be found the nearest water park. Further afield, Malaga is excellent for shopping, in particular the famous 'El Corte Ingles' department stores. Frigiliana is an excellent starting point for numerous walks to the coast or into the beautiful natural parks of the mountains of the 'Sierras de Tejeda y Almijara'.
