Well maintained bungalow set in a small secluded complex looking out over lovely mature gardens. There is a shared pool and tennis court which are for the exclusive use of the complex residents and their guests, plus ample private parking. The bungalow is a short walk from the Blue Flag Playa Romana beach, a supermarket and several restaurants. The town of Alcossebre is only five minutes drive away where you will find a host of friendly bars and lovely restaurants providing a full and varied choice of food from a variety of countries, all at very reasonable prices. If you want that nice easy going relaxing holiday this area of Spain will suit you perfectly but should you wish for something more energetic there are a number of golf courses within easy reach and a number of water sports available thoughout the year. If you like walking there are some lovely walks in the area with breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife that should not be missed.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. We would ask that that the bungalow is vacated by no later than 10am on the day of departure and that incoming guests do not arrive before 4pm to enable ample time for the change over, cleaning and preparation.
Accommodation

For low season bookings we also provide a portable gas heater for the lounge plus an oil filled electric radiator in both the lounge and the bedroom.
Accessibility
As the bungalow is at ground level it is suitable for visitors who may have disabilities, although there is a single step of approximately 8" up onto the veranda area.
Outside
The outside of the Bungalow has a covered veranda with table and chairs provided for up to four people so you can dine 'Al fresco', as the temperature does not drop to the levels of those in the UK and you will find it comfortable to eat on the veranda most of the year.
Coast/Beach
There are five local beaches all with the coveted European 'Blue Flag' status. The closest to the Bungalow is Playa Romana which is only 400m level walk. All these beaches of lovely golden sand slope gently to the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea. In 2010 the local council installed a lovely wide wooden walkway right along the beaches into the town. The walkway is also suitable for the disabled and wheelchairs and has plenty of good access points along the beach.
Golf
There are several golf courses within easy reach of Alcossebre. The nearest course, Panoramica, designed by Bernhard Langer is approx 20 mins drive away.
Special interest holidays
There are horse riding stables locally, providing both ride outs and riding lessons. There is a very good diving school based in the nearby marina at Las Fuentas. If you like sea fishing there are plenty of opportunities to pursue the sport both from the shore and from the many boats around the local area.
Travel
Valencia approx 1 hour drive. Reus approx 1 hour 15 minutes drive.
Barcelona approx 2 hours 15 minutes drive. Easyjet & Ryan Air now fly into these airports from around the UK so it is inexpensive to get to this area. The road system is two tier - The normal roads are similar to UK 'A' roads and the toll roads are similar to UK motorways. The toll roads are both fast, safe, well maintained and inexpensive to travel on. Alcossebre is easy access from both the N340 and the A7 motorway.
Distances
Costa del Azahar (Orange blossom coast) is a beautiful area of Spain and as yet unspoiled, it is 'Real' Spain. The local scenery is stunning and there is something for everyone, from horse riding to golf to birdwatching and walking - you won't be disappointed! Peniscola is 22 km along the coast and is well worth a visit to see the fabulous Templa castle made famous in the film epic El Cid, (And also has one of the best cake shops in Spain!).
Further details
Within Alcossebre itself there are numerous shops catering for most needs, a Clinica (Small Hospital), Doctors surgery, several supermarkets, chemists, banks and plenty of clean friendly bars that make the visitor most welcome. You can try out your Spanish on the very helpful staff at the many restaurants that are along the waterfront.
There is also an excellent Tourist Information office on the sea front should you require further information on the area whilst you are there.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required on booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.
A £50.00 refundable damage deposit is charged on all bookings and is required with the balance of the booking.

For late bookings full payment is required upon booking.
