Orozca is an elegantly decorated farmhouse - rural chic at it's best. It has a unique atmosphere, thick, cool walls and aged wooden beams offset with splashes of colour and some lovely pieces of antique furniture. With hiking trails on your doorstep and a secluded, private location - melt-down starts here. 4kms from the historical village of Montefrio there is a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and sightseeing. This is the perfect holiday base for a large group or families that appreciates superb views, delicious food and local culture, good walks and unadulterated peace.

Changeover day
Changeover dates flexible, must be agreed with owner.
Owners are happy to arrange midweek hand-overs where possible to coincide with cheaper midweek flights.

Outside
The private 'lagoon' pool has natural stone surrounding sun terraces with Carribbean cabana style umbrellas and loungers. It also has an integral baby pool with safety bars. Moorish Star patio with fountain - outdoor shower, natural stone barbecue. The kitchen opens onto a shaded outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Malaga, approximately 1 hours drive, also nearby Nerja, Almunecar, Motril, Salobrena.

Golf
If you are golfer who is desperate to play in the sunshine, then golfing in Spain is ideal for you. Offering a temperate climate all year round with impeccable courses in spectacular locations, the Costa del Sol and Granada are great places to play. The province of Granada has two championship courses.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada ski resort is 55 minutes drive from Orozca.
Sierra Nevada, located in the province of Granada in the south of Spain, is Europe's most southerly ski resort. It's the best known and best equipped of all the Spanish ski resorts with 48 pistes covering 70 kilometers. You won't find another resort where you can ski in the morning then play golf in the sunshine or relax on a Mediterranean beach in the afternoon.
Travel
Malaga airport is 1 hours drive and Granada airport is 45 mins drive.
Distances
Montefrio is nearest village (5km) drive and Granada (45 minutes). Seville, Cordoba, Antequera, Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada are all easily drivable distances.

Montefrio is on the Route of Washington Irving, which is the historical road that links Malaga, Seville and Granada and has many fascinating walks and is popular with cyclists worldwide. There is also a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and 2 swing parks. There is also a local lido with restaurant for a fun day locally. The house is ideally situated near to town for local supermarkets and banks and the local 24 hour clinic is a 5 minute drive.
Booking notes
Deposit of 40% is required for reservation. Full payment 60 days prior to start of holiday. Last minute bookings need to pay full amount on day of arrival. A £200 deposit is payable (in advance with final balance payment). It will be returned to you, subject to any appropriate deductions) at the end of your stay. Personal holiday insurance is a prerequisite when staying at Orozca.
