Coast/Beach
Overlooking blue ribbon beach. Access via walkway tunnel across golf course. From June onwards, the beach-bars (chiringuitos) open up their doors for drinks, snacks or meals. The view is ever changing. The beach, the sea, the golf course, the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, fishing boats, powerboats, the lighthouse. Wake up in the morning and open the shutters in time for a spectacular sunrise, or better still, leave them open all night and let the early rising sun wake you up.
Golf
Directly on the Alcaidesa Links Golf course - the only links course in Southern Spain. Looking over the 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th greens with the fairway for the 13th directly below you. There is a second new 18 hole course (opened late 2007) in Alcaidesa, and within a few minutes drive, you have famous courses, such as Valderama, San Roque, Sotogrande etc.
Travel
Nearest airport is Gibraltar (approx 25 minutes driving). Malaga is the nearest main airport with direct motorway link to the Alcaidesa turn off. Approx comfortable driving time is just over one hour directly along modern toll road.
Distances
Vista Real is situated in a quiet residential area within the village of Alcaidesa, which is at the South end of the Costa del Sol in Spain. The property is situated only a couple o miles east of the historic Rock of Gibraltar, and within easy reach of Sotogrande, Marbella, Estepona, Cadiz, Jerez, etc, and although a very quiet location, enjoys all the benefits of being within easy driving distance of the Costa del Sol's shops, restaurants, clubs, and many traditional Spanish towns and villages.
