The apartment is a large modern apartment in a quiet location but very close to local amenities with beautiful shared gardens and a large shared swimming pool. It is a short 5 minute drive from Almeria airport which is serviced by numerous low cost UK airlines. It is about 10 minutes walk to the Alboran golf course and a pleasant 5 minute stroll to the beach, children's play areas, bars and restaurants. It borders the beautiful National Park of Cabo de Gata and the views from the balcony are truly spectacular. The historic City of Almeria is about 15 minutes away and the apartment is ideally situated 2 minutes from the bus stop with direct access into the city. The apartment is also about an hour and a half from Granada and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada, and about 20 minutes away from the lovely town of San Jose.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is equipped with a cot and highchair and children's chairs and table. There is also a double pushchair, car seats and a steriliser. There is a toy box and children's books and DVDs in the lounge and the television receives Cbeebies! A short stroll from the apartment there are numerous children's play areas and the nearest supermarket stocks nappies and other children's essentials.
The apartment is fully air conditioned (heating and cooling).
Accessibility
The apartment has lift access from the underground car park to each floor, and the interior of the apartment is all on one level.
Outside
There is a balcony leading from the lounge and bedroom 2 with a table and chairs and a modern BBQ. There are beautiful shared gardens and a lovely shared swimming pool which is gated off, particularly comforting if you have young children. The gardens and swimming pool area are usually very quiet.
Coast/Beach
5 minute walk to nearest beach.
5 minute drive to nearest golf club.
15/20 minute drive to San Jose.
15 minute drive into Almeria city (2 minutes walk to bus stop).
Golf
Alboran golf course is within 5 minutes of the apartment. This is a superb 18 hole course designed by the renowned architect Ramon Espinosa. The design and layout will provide a positive text of golf. There are numerous other golf courses in the area for example Almerimar (30 mins away), Desert Springs in Mojacar (40 mins away), La Envia (15 mins away), Marina Golf (45 mins away), Playa Serena in Roquetas de Mar (20 mins away), Valle Del Este in Mojacar (40 mins away)
Special interest holidays
Some of the beaches around Retamar and Cabo de Gata are popular with windsurfers and the National Park of Cabo de Gata is a major tourist attraction especially for those wildlife enthusiasts. For lovers of history the historic cities of Almeria and Granada prove compelling attractions.
Travel
5 minute transfer from Almeria Airport.
Car hire recommended but not essential.
Further details
The local shops, bars and restaurants are a short 5 minute walk away. There is a well stocked supermarket, a local fresh fish mongers, various local bars and restaurants including fish restaurants, a Chinese, Pizzerias, an ice cream parlour, coffee shops. There is an ATM near the supermarket and a number of large hotels with Beauty Spas open to the public.
The National Park provides a lovely place to ramble and the beaches are quiet and accessible.
Booking notes
We can hold a provisional booking for one week. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure your booking.
The balance of the cost of your holiday is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
If booking within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday, full payment is required.
If the booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, the payment is non-refundable. You are responsible for any breakages or damage that you may inflict on the house.
