The apartment is equipped to a high standard and benefits from air-conditioning and Satellite TV. The apartment is just a 10/15 mins walk to the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor and a similar distance to the town centre of this lovely Spanish resort, with its excellent choice of bars, tapas and restaurants. There are several excellent supermarkets, with an array of produce that Sainsbury's would be proud of, within a 2 minute drive.

Clean towels (for use in the apartment only) and bedlinen are provide at the start of each booking. A mid-stay clean and fresh towels/linen can be arranged at an additional cost. Guests have the use of the washing machine if they wish. |

Accessibility
The property and complex are suitable for people with mobility problems. However please discuss any such issues with the owner before booking.
Outside
Front and rear terrace. Sun loungers provide and a patio table and chairs for alfresco dining and enjoying a drink on a warm evening. The shared pool is approximately 15m long with a small children's section. All children should be supervised when in the pool and surrounding communal area.
Coast/Beach
10 to 15 mins walk to the beach. Santiago de la Ribera is situated on the Mar Menor (small sea), which is a inland salt water lagoon approx 16 miles long and 8 miles wide. The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the La Manga strip. The waters are shallow and warmer then the Mediterranean, allowing bathing even in January! There are numerous other beaches within a 15 min drive, including El Mojon, Los Alcazares and Playa Paradisio.
Golf
There are numerous new golf courses in the area, including the world famous La Manga Country Club and several Polaris World Golf Resorts, all within a 20 min drive.
Travel
Murcia Airport is just 3 miles (5km) away. Alicante Airport is approx 45 miles away.
Both are well served by low-cost airlines from the UK and Europe. Car Hire is recommended to enjoy all that this Costa has to offer, however all facilities of this resort are within walking distance.
Distances
Cartagena is 20 miles. Murcia City is approx 30 miles.
Further details
The Mar Menor area is still very much a Spanish holiday destination, and the small resorts such as Santiago de la Ribera, that have sprung up on the shores on the Mar Menor retaining that Spanish feel to them. The town centre is well served with shops, banks and ATM's. The restaurants have a distinct Spanish flavour to them but there are also excellent Italian and Chinese available. The Dos Mares commercial centre provides a number of fast food outlets.
