The villa is cleaned and maintained by the owners who will also be on hand to greet you on arrival and be available to provide information or assistance at any time during your holiday. Casa Verano is located in a particularly quiet residential area of Les Tres Cales, only 5 minutes drive from the nearest blue flag beach and approximately 4km from L'Ametlla De Mar, one of the few remaining traditional Spanish fishing villages nestling in this unspoilt stretch of the Costa Daurada. For those in pursuit of excitement and adventure, the Universal Studios Port Aventura theme park is approximately 30 minutes away by train/car.

Notes on prices
All prices are quoted in euro per week. Our "mid-week" changeovers enable our guests avail of significant savings on expense of weekend airfares. Thursday is our preferred changeover day during July and August. At other times, we will endeavour to accommodate your travel plans where at all possible. Prices quoted from Jan. to March DO NOT include cost of electricity.

Notes on accommodation
If you delight in enjoying your own space, then your own private villa with its own private pool is a wonderful way to relax and unwind. To ensure that you get around and get the best out of your holiday, we suggest that you hire a car. However, the villa is within easy walking distance of a well stocked supermarket (open during summer season only), bakery, tapas bars and restaurant; so if you simply want to chill out and enjoy the attractions of the villa and your own private pool, a taxi service is available for collection and return trips to airport as well as trips to L'Ametlla de Mar or local restaurants. The owners will be on hand to meet guests on arrival and will be available to provide any help or information required during holiday. Highchair and / or cot available on request. Detailed directions from airport to Las Tres Calas will be emailed on confirmation of travel arrangements.

Outside
Private illuminated swimming pool. Purpose-built barbecue area. Outside garden furniture includes four sun loungers and two reclining chairs. Table and 6 chairs provided for alfresco dining. Off-street car parking area. Nearest supermarket, fresh fruit & vegetable shop and small bakery: 1km.

Coast/Beach
One of the greatest attractions of Les Tres Cales has to be its secluded, uncrowded Mediterranean beaches after which it takes its name – ‘The Three Coves’ they are truly beautiful and only a 5 min. drive from Casa Verano. Their fine golden sands and clean shallow waters continue to captivate holiday makers who visit year after year. One of these coves, Cala Jordi, has been awarded Blue Flag Beach status as have two other small, uncrowded beaches within 5km from the villa.

Golf
There are two Golf courses within easy driving distance. For the more discerning golfer, the magnificent 18 hole Bonmont Course (about 40 mins drive) proves really popular, even for professionals. There is also par 3 pitch and put, for those who just want to have some fun, there's always crazy golf.

Travel
Ryanair operates regular services to and from Reus International Airport, offering regular flights from Cork, Dublin and Knock; Glasgow/Prestwick; Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands Liverpool, Luton and Stansted. Flythomascook.com also operates a range of services to Reus from several UK airports. Wide range of flights to El Prat Barcelona Airport are provided by Aer Lingus, British Airways, bmibaby, EasyJet, Jet2 & Monarch. Please check individual websites for details.

Distances
Hiring a car offers a lot more flexibility to explore the treasures of southern Catalonia. We will provide you with suggestions for car hire. Travel time by car: Reus Airport to Les Tres Cales - approximately 35 minutes. El Prat Barcelona Airport - approx. 1hr 45mins. Casa Verano is approx 4km from the beautiful, unspoilt fishing village of L'Ametlla De Mar. Here you will experience authentic 'Catalan' life in the heart of the narrow winding streets of a typical Catalan village.

Here in L’Ametlla de Mar / Les Tres Cales you will discover a little bit of Spain as it used to be – sand, sea and sun minus the maze of tower blocks and without the throngs of tourists – an ideal location for a truly enjoyable family holiday. You will find lots of restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets and wonderful small bakeries. For its size, L’Ametlla de Mar has a surprising array of quality shops and boutiques. In the exciting selection of restaurants you will find some of the finest Mediterranean cuisine and wines at wonderfully low prices. The spectacular sandy beaches are a delight to see and enjoy. An excellent train service operates from L'Ametlla de Mar and services the Universal Studios adventure theme park at Port Aventura as well as connecting to the major Spanish train network. The Caribe Aqua Park in Salou provides superb entertainment for all ages. Come nightfall, Salou's bars, discos and nightclubs burst into life - most staying open at least into the early hours; many carrying on until breakfast! The villa is a 25 min drive from the magnificent River Ebro, renowned as one of the best carp fishing rivers in Europe. Boat and rod hire and further information available. The world-renowned Ebro Delta Nature Reserve (7800 hectares) with its rich and varied flora and fauna including vast expanses of rice paddy and incredible beaches and sand dunes provides a unique attraction for all nature and wildlife enthusiasts. Of international ecological interest are the large colonies of migratory water and sea birds. The Delta is regarded as one of the most interesting bird watching locations in the Western Mediterranean. Nearby Tarragona boasts an historic Roman amphitheatre among its many attractions and a visit to Reus, the city that witnessed the birth of Gaudi, the world famous architect, will reward you with the unique charm of a totally Mediterranean city.

Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your booking. Full payment will be required 8 weeks prior to arrival. An additional 250 euro damage deposit will be required on arrival. This will be returned within 7 days subject to satisfactory inspection of the villa.
