Set in 12 acres of almond and olive trees and only 1.5km from the village, this accommodation offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is newly built to a high standard and has many traditional Spanish features with all the comforts of home. Guests are free to walk the land surrounding the house. Its elevated position means spectacular views. There is use of a 8m x 4m swimming pool (shared with owners). Sunbeds and BBQ. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, sitting area and private balcony with table and chairs. The house has a kitchen area with dining table and chairs and a lounge area with sofa and a log burning fire with a good supply of wood for those cooler evenings. Each room is light and spacious making it a perfect place to relax. Santa Cruz village is only a short walk away. The house is set out in such a way that each bedroom can be rented separately, as both have privacy or the house can be rented as a whole. Fresh bread provided from the local bakery each morning.

Bathrooms are newly fitted with wc, sink and shower.
Kitchen area is traditionally built and consists of fridge and gas oven and hob. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, iron and ironing board.
Living area consists of a log burning fire, sofa, dining table and chairs, TV and video recorder and stereo. A range of videos, CDs, games and books are also available.
Towels (not beach), linen included, changed once a week. Rooms cleaned dailyon request. Laundry service available on request.

The house is set out in such a way that each bedroom can be rented separately as both have privacy. In this case the kitchen/living area, which is located between both bedrooms, will be shared. Each bedroom has a sitting area with sofa, coffee table and standard lamp. The rooms are light and spacious making it a perfect place to relax. Each room has a private balcony with table and chairs and clothes airer.

Each bedroom has an oiled filled radiator and the kitchen/living area has a log burning stove and a plentiful supply of wood. The private balconies are enclosed making it ideal for younger children. All the beds have quilts and throws for the cooler months. Each room has a hairdryer. Fresh bread every morning from local bakery

Coast/Beach
Malaga and other beautiful coastal resorts 90 minutes by car. As well as the coast the nearby lake is only 20 minutes away by car and offers pedal boats and canoes for hire. The water is clear and is ideal for swimming.

Skiing
Sierra Nevada easily accessible.

Special interest holidays
This is a perfect spot for those who enjoy birdwatching as there are many species of birds to be seen, especially in the Sping. There are many good walks in the area including the gorge in Alhama De Granada. Guided walks can be organised for walks more off the beaten track. Bike hire can also be arranged easily with a full delivery and collection service.

Travel
Granada airport 40 minutes by car and Malaga 90 minutes by car.

Nearest village is Santa Cruz, 1.5km and Alhama De Granada, a town, is 9 kilometers. The beautiful city of Granada with the Alhambra Palace is around 1 hours drive. The historic city of Cordoba is only 2 hours by car. Sierra Nevada 90 minutes with all kinds of activities. There are also lots of things to do locally within 20 minutes of Santa Cruz. This location is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday with many activities on the doorstep.

Further details
There are many traditional Spanish restaurants and bars close by to choose from. This is one of the few remaining areas that still serves free tapas with drinks. Santa Cruz has a small market on a Wednesday morning, there is a small shop and 3 bars to chose from. Alhama De Granada has a market on Friday mornings there are also plenty of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. The gorge walk here is a must. This location is ideal for both those who like to relax or for those who like to be more active. Bicycles can be hired in Alhama De Granada with a full delivery and collection service. Guided walks can be arranged on request for those who prefer to walk off the beaten track. The lake is also close by with its turquoise water, perfect for swimming, pedal boat and canoe hire also available.
