This Penthouse apartment is unquestionably one of our most spectacular properties available in the Alcaidesa area. Set in one of the quieter, more natural areas in Spain's Costa Del Sol, this views from the apartments 50 meter terrace will quite literally take your breath away. Situated at the top of the development you will enjoy a panoramic view of the coast eat towards Estepona and South towards Gibraltar and Africa. The apartment is set on two floors and has a wonderfully open feel with plenty of natural light. The apartment has use of a fantastic swimming pool which is open from May through to September. There is also a smaller splash pool for very young children. You will be given access to the owner's poolside store which has loungers, big floats, tennis rackets for the racket ball court and even two sets of golf clubs. Whale watch from Gibraltar, play golf at the world famous Valderama or just sip your Sangria with one of the most beautiful views on the coast.

Notes on prices
The price of the penthouse includes all room towels and sheets and bedding. We have a maid who cleans once a week and will also a separate key service. There is also someone for you to call upon 24 hours a day should you need to.
Changeover day
We are flexible on changeover day but like to offer mid week as our guests are able to secure cheaper flights.

| Living Rooms: | The lounge has an amazing sea view and is equipped with DVD player and a Flat LCD TV. Very comfy sofa and dining table with 4 chairs. There is a cot and highchair (available only on request) should you require them. |
| Other: | There are also a couple of extra pull out beds if you require up to 6 people to stay in the property. The apartment has beautiful Terracotta tiles throughout and from the top floor bedroom area one can overlook the lounge below. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The penthouse is cleaned before arrival & freshly laundered bedding & towels are provided. Please have your own towels for the pool. A linen change will be provided at the end of the 1st week if 2 weeks booked. Cleaning can be arranged at an extra charge. |

There are 3 air conditioning units that can be used for both air-conditioning and also heating. These are located in the lounge area, the top bedroom and the twin room. Each room has it’s own remote control.

Accessibility
As there are a number of stairs to the apartment, we would not recommend the apartment for the elderly or infirm.

Coast/Beach
The property is just 500 meters from a really beautiful long sandy beach with two beach bars in the summer months. Alcaidesa beach is also home to a magnificent restaurant run by a German TV Chef. The walk from the apartment is brief and easy but walking back can take a little longer with the hill. We sometimes drive which takes literally one minute!
Golf
For golf lovers, Alcaidesa makes an excellent base. There is a championship 18 hole Links course, developed by Peter Alliss – the only one on the Spanish Costas. A second course has just been added with one of the holes visible from the rear of the apartment. It is also only 10 minutes drive to the famous Valderrama golf course and five mins from San Roque and Sotogrande.
Travel
Nearest Airports: Gibraltar - 15 mins (Monarch flies from Luton, British Airways from Heathrow and Gatwick). Jerez - 55 mins (Ryanair flies to Jerez from Stansted). Malaga - 60 mins. Many airlines fly into Malaga including Budgetair from Dublin, EasyJet from Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, Gatwick, Liverpool, Luton, Newcastle, Stansted. BMI Baby from Cardiff, East Midlands, Manchester, Teesside. Ryanair from Dublin. Others include Monarch and Thomsonfly.
Distances
There are some beautiful areas around this part of the coast with the white village of Casares being about 25 minutes away. Gibraltar can provide a fascinating day out where you can combine a dolphin watching trip with a guided taxi tour. The famous natural, windsurfing beach of Tarifa in Costa de La Luz is just 45 minutes away and the interesting towns of Cadiz and Seville are all within day trip distance as is Morocco.
Alternatively you can just relax by the pool or on the beach!
Further details
Alcaidesa has a small centre with a pub, pharmacy and general store which is just 400 meters from the apartment. There are also a three restaurants within walking distance including one run by a German TV Chef, The Dragonfly bar, 5 Erres restaurant and the golf club which does very reasonable and tasty meals. There is also a cashpoint at the golf club.
The nearest supermarket if in Guadiaro just 8 minutes away by car. There are many great restaurants around the area at Sotogrande, Guadiaro, Puerto Duquesa and in the hills. There is also a discount shopping mall about 20 minutes away and if you are feeling homesick you can always pop into Gib for a spot of M&S.

We have just enjoyed a fantastic week in your beautiful apartment and felt we had to write to tell you! The apartment was well equipped and we have enjoyed having our meals just enjoying the stunning views which are always changing. We would recommend this part of the coast to anyone who wants something a little different from your typical Costa break. The trips we have had to Gibraltar and Casares have been wonderful but our day in Morocco was amazing. Thank you for providing such a welcoming and beautiful base for our adventuring!
