This modern well situated first floor apartment, overlooks the communal pool and the attractive mature gardens of this secure gated complex. It is double glazed and equipped with full air conditioning/central heating. Santa Marta beach is only 800 metres away and all the major resort facilities are within easy walking distance. The apartment is adjacent to the tennis courts and within 300 metres of a thriving bowling club, with a children's play area nearby. There are many golf clubs in the area and the El Paraiso course is only 2 km away. There are numerous restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The apartment makes an excellent centre for walking in the nearby hills. The classic Spanish ‘White Villages’ such as Istan and Casares are an easy drive away. The 'Selwo' safari park is only 5km down the coast. Puerto Banus with its prestigious yacht harbour is only 10 minutes drive away, whilst Marbella and Estepona are 15 minutes drive.

Changeover day
During the school summer holidays changeover is normally at the weekends. For all other times changeover can be any day of the week and holidays can be of any length greater than 4 days.

Children's cots available on request. Both bedrooms give ample storage and hanging space. Double sofabed in lounge converts to 4'6' bed.
Bathrooms: En suite bathroom - toilet, bath with shower and bidet.
Second bathroom - toilet, bath with shower.
Both bathroom are fitted with grab rails. The second bath is shorter than standard but ideal for bathing small children.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with ample storage. Comprises oven, 4 ring hob, grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee percolator, toaster and washing machine.
Utility Room: Comprises additional sink and drying area, with clothes airer. A tumble dryer is provided for the winter months.
Living Rooms: Large lounge/dining area with a double sofabed plus a further settee. Dining table with 6 chairs. Satellite TV with DVD player, providing a total of 18 English language programmes, including Sky Sports and Movie Channels. AM/FM radio with CD player.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels and linen are provided, changeover is on a weekly basis.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is located on the first floor with a lift to the ground floor and basement garage, where allocated parking is provided. A cot and highchair can be provided if required and a Welcome Pack is available on request. The apartment is managed by English agents who live locally and operate a 'meet and greet' service.

Accessibility
The apartment floor is completely level with no steps. There is lift access to both the ground floor and the basement garage from the apartment. The baths in both bathrooms are equipped with grab rails.

Outside
The apartment has a balcony, equipped with patio table and 6 chairs, that overlooks the communal pool and gardens. Sun beds are provided for use round the pool.

Coast/Beach
The local Santa Marta beach is only 10 mins walk from the apartment. There you will find a beach bar and plenty of sun loungers. There are a number of other small bars/restaurants located further along the beach for snacks and meals.

Golf
El Paraiso golf club is only 2km away and Los Flamingos, Monte Mayor, Guadalmina and both Old and New Atalaya are within a 15 minute drive. There are many other excellent golf courses within easy reach. There is a well-equipped golf shop close to the apartment and local facilities are available to book tee times at all the major golf clubs on the Costa del Sol. For less serious players a 9-hole course is located only a few kilometres at ‘Coto de la Serena’. Here clubs may be hired and there is no requirement to pre-book tee times.

Travel
Malaga airport is approximately 65km, (50 minutes), away from the apartment and Gibraltar airport is a 45 minutes drive. Airport collection and drop offs are available on request. A car is not necessary to enjoy the local facilities and there is an excellent local bus service. However, if you wish to fully explore the area and particularly the inland villages, a car is recommended. Car hire is available at the airport or locally, close to the apartment.

Distances

Further details
The Buena Vista Bowls Club is one of the most popular bowling clubs on the coast and is located within 300m of the apartment. Guests and beginners are welcome and lessons can be arranged.
The Bel-Air tennis club is only 2-3km away. Visitors are made particularly welcome and are assured of a game. Coaching is available if required.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. The balance is to be paid 1 month before departure.
