This is a newly reformed Spanish finca set in a lovely village with Spanish neighbours. The apartments have been built with your ideal holiday in mind, peace and tranquility at it's best. Only 10 mins drive from Iznajar and the lake which has a beach and bar/restaurant. Centrally located for Granada, Malaga, Seville or Cordoba and only 90mins away from the brilliant skiing on the Sierra Nevada.

Prices are for the property(s) per week in UK pounds. Long term lets are negotiable for the winter months. Discounts are available if you reserve both apartments.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, as are arrival times but if I have bookings coming in you would need to depart the apartment by 10am. Please contact the owner for further details.

A double bedroom with wardrobe, bedside cabinets and fan. A twin bedroom with wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a fan also a ‘put me up’ bed or cot are available for an extra persons. Lounge with table and 4 chairs, sofa, TV with English channels and DVD player. Kitchen area has a fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster and everything you possibly need. Bathroom has a jet powered shower with basin and WC. All towels and bed linen included. All electricity and gas included in the rental price. The owner's washing machine may be used for a small charge. |

Notes on accommodation
We have heaters for the winter months. The apartments are ideal for children with a good size pool with a slide. There are plenty of terraces including a private roof terrace ideal for star gazing. There is a built in barbecue area or a mobile barbecue if you wish to have food on the roof terrace and there are plenty of sunbeds to go round which ever terrace you choose to sunbathe on. The apartments are non-smoking, if you choose to smoke you may do so outside, but please have consideration for our non-smoking guests.
Accessibility
The apartments are on one level with a ramp down from the pool so wheelchair accessibility is available.
Outside
There is a 10x5 swimming pool with a slide for the children which is shared by both apartments. There is a lawn and garden area with fixed seating, a shady terrace if it gets too hot and plenty of terraces and sunbeds, with table tennis or darts for those who feel a little more energetic!
Coast/Beach
There is a beach on the lake at Iznajar which is only a 15 minute drive from the house. Within an hour you can be on any of the beaches on the Costas eg Benalmadina, Fuengirola or if you want to go the Granada region you would reach those beaches in approx 90 minutes.
Golf
The nearest golf course is in Antequera which is 30 mins drive from the apartments. It is an 18 hole course and we are told by previous guests that it is a very good course.

Why not try one of our Pamper days. We have a fully qualified RGN that specialises in deep tissue massage aswell as all other types of massage. Also all beauty treatments including Dermo pro facials, Manicures, Pedicures etc.

There is an excellent Tennis club only 15 minutes away where you can have coaching with one of the top professionals
Travel
Granada airport is the nearest which is about a 45 minute drive away. Malaga airport can be reached in approximately one hour (depending on traffic). Seville airport is approximately 1 and a half to 2 hours drive away. Car hire is highly recommended. Cars can be rented from any of these airports mentioned. Please contact the owner for further information.
Distances
The apartments are set on the edge of a popular village. A 2 minute walk takes you to the local bar/restaurant which serves good food and the landlord speaks a little English. Also there is a mini supermarket which sells almost everything! In Iznajar there are several shops, post-office and banks and it has a medical centre which is open 24 hours.
Further details
There are several excellent restaurants nearby and large supermarkets in either Loja, Rute or Archidona, all within a 15 minute drive.
Antequera is our closest city and it is very historic having 2 castles and lots of old buildings as well as the tallest mountain, the famous El Torcal.
The local lake at Iznajar is a fantastic place to visit. In the summer there are pedalos and sailing available, or simply swim in the fresh water. Visit the dam at Cuevos san Marco. Visit the local Subbetica (national park).
There is a Wolf Park to visit near Antequera, and El Torcal is a very interesting 'lunar' type landscape. Cordoba, which is an hour's drive away, is an extremely interesting historic city which can sometimes be overlooked, but is well worth a visit, to see the Moorish Mezquita and Jewish quarter, among other things.
Granada of course cannot be missed, the Alhambra is a must see and Seville is a beautiful city, which again must be seen to be appreciated. Visit local Riofrio to walk by the river.
If you enjoy walking, in the cooler months this is a beautiful region to do so. This is just a taste of some of the things available to do nearby.
Booking notes
Booking is through Owners Direct and requires £50 per week deposit on booking confirmation. The outstanding balance is to be paid 4 weeks before arrival.
